how do you carry your phone?|pad patter 1.24.2018!

I have this hexagon inlay case from Carved and I am obsessed with it. It is carved from real wood and the texture in person is incredible. It is also incredibly durable. I have dropped my phone so many times (probably daily) and it has protected it well. The case and phone still look new a few years in.

I also have this Disney Vera Bradley wristlet that I picked up super cheap at a Disney Parks outlet in Orlando last year. I keep it in my purse and use it as a wallet. BUT, it actually fits my phone (in case) in it perfectly, so if I don't want to carry my purse, I can just take this and I love that. It's great to take into Disney or anyplace like that.

Usually, I do carry a purse- normally a Kavu Rope Sling. The larger outside pocket fits a phone really well, so I put my phone in there.

I'm like @michelepixels in that (1) I love Otterbox cases and (2) I am VERY particular about my wallet and I want one that easily fits paper money (not all do, oddly enough) and it has at least 2 see-thru id spots. You'd think it'd be easy, but it's not. Actually, I've been looking for a wallet for a few years now as I've been using the same one for close to 15 years. It's time--before the thing falls apart on me and I'm stuck with no wallet. I found a mywallit yesterday but it was on sale for $70 and I felt like I couldn't spend that much so I put it back...but then I got home and my first thought was "if it's the only wallet I've liked in 2+ years of looking, then it's probably worth the money."

Anyway, I'm talking about wallets instead of phones! I wear a hoodie around the house/yard in cool/cold/mild weather and I put my phone in the kangaroo pocket while I'm doing housework or gardening/watching the kids outside. In warm weather I wear men's athletic shorts around the house/yard and I put my phone in the pocket...why the fashion industry refuses to make bottoms for women with USABLE pockets is beyond me. When I'm out, I keep my phone in a side pocket of my purse (and my purse has to a cross-body style, have a zipper closure with inner side pockets--one for my Purell and another for my phone. Bonus if there's a small, zippered outer pocket for my keys. Wow, I'm picky.)

If I am carrying my purse, my phone is in there in its designated slot.....and in my back pocket of my jeans when I don't have my purse. My phone is in a Otterbox as well.

I used to love those wallet cases. But they're my "always" choice, so right now I have this

This is mine - its becoming near on impossible to find cases for my phone that don't cost the earth so when I saw the ones last year that were only $5 I bought two. This is the one on my phone now and I can't remember what the other design is that I got

At home, my phone is usually just laying on the desk...I don't tend to carry it around the house (leggings don't have pockets LOL). When I leave the house it goes in my purse and when I'm at work it's either on my desk or in my pocket. Most of the time my work-wear doesn't have pockets, so it sits on my desk or I just carry it in my hand if I leave the room. I've been debating getting a Loopy case, but I really love the case I have on it now and I haven't had it that long. What I'd really like to have is something like this:

I'm loving all of these case suggestions! I have a cheapy from amazon and my phone lives in my pocket or purse depending on the situation.

I have a magnetic wallet case for my iphone. My DIL got it for me for Christmas. At first I was not crazy about it but it has grown on me.

I don't carry it on me at work (I work in office and frequently my clothes do not have pockets). When we go out I have been putting in my coat pocket for now. Not sure what I will do when summer comes.

That's pretty cool!! I have mine in an Otter Box that I throw in my purse, hold in my hand, have hubby put in his pockets if I don't bring a purse or back pocket when I'm at the park.

I have one of those pop socket thingys on the back (got free from hubbys work)- so that's how I hold it most of the time. https://www.popsockets.com/

As far as 'carry'- it's either in my pocket or the side pocket of my purse- I have this one right now- and the matching wallet is big enough for my phone (and paper $$ too! @Tree City I didn't realize there were other people out there who had my same issue!! ;) )

Kevin bought me an iphone X for Christmas (*gasp*) and I picked out a entirely clear Spigen air cushion case for it. I have a pop socket on the back for carrying and more ergonomic reading.

Phew! Someone like me!
The designated pocket in my purse is inside the zippered part. Which could be any of three options including the biggest one that fits my DSLR.

My case isn't OtterBox this time, but a knockoff. Because I'm sorta wanting this one to stop working so I can upgrade, but I also don't really want to do the phone research so I'm want it to survive longer.

I have an iPhone 6Plus that is housed in a customized Otterbox with a Union Jack on it (of course...lol). I bought a Union Jack Pop Socket for the back of it, but I haven't attached it yet because I'm thinking about upgrading my phone soon (I know you can reattach them, but they're never the same). I usually throw my phone in my purse or put it in my back pocket if I'm wearing jeans.

I have an iPhone 7 with a Speck case and a pop socket in the back. I carry it in my purse though - not on me or in a pocket. I harangue Melissa not to put it in her pocket either.

I strongly recommend Mywalit... I bought one last year and it is not only super practical but also top quality. Plus: the colour combos are really nice. It's always so great to open it and see all the colours pop out. I have this one: https://mywalit.com/en/shop/zip-around-mega-purse/candy/
You can use it as a wallet or a very small purse as it comes with a should strap.

They have a great winter sale on at their site right now. Only limited products are on sale but super cheap. And they ship worldwide veryfast. I had my wallet within two days.

In my handbag (purse). I don't like having it on me, touching me, in my pocket unless I am using it because of the radiation.

My phone gets carried in my little purse... I have a minimal bumper case on my phone and a screen protector to prevent scratches. I've often thought it would be cool to have a wallet that also had a spot for my phone like yours Anne... I love that the phone comes out separately!

That's a nice one, Rikki! And thanks for the info; I had never heard of the company until I saw this wallet on Tues, so I was a bit nervous. If it's going to last, then it's worth it. And the colors are fun!
