Here is the kitchen ripped out,since then I've had the gas man come move the gas to other side,yesterday was the electricians to re wire the whole house,omg I didn't realise how big dirty noisy and horrible that job was they started at 7.50 am and finally left at 7 on the evening by 9am there was no where for me to sit and couldn't keep gabbi occupied any longer so went to my moms for a few hours then picked up the other children after school and killed a few hours in a play barn yesterday was by far the worst day yet and hoping that the rest won't be as bad,today is supposedly the loft insulation ,gas man again and plasterer,

That sink has to come out to but they have to leave me with one for now,the fridge will also go as I'm gonna order me a new one today and the dish washer is already ordered to come next week so hopefully it will be all worth it

That is a massive job... and yeah I know the pain of living round workmen... no matter how great they are, no matter if they try disrupt you as little as possible... sooner or later they have to...

This too will pass though and then you will have a bright shiny new kitchen and that will make it all worth it...
 
Oh the memories! I wish I could get on the pc so I could post the before and after photos of my kitchen when they did it, you would see how wonderful it will look when it's all done! It's an upheaval for sure, staying sane is the hardest part! Especially with little ones in the house xx

Can't wait to see the photos of your new kitchen xx hope everything is smooth sailing for you from now on xx
 
the kitchen isnt the main problem all the rewiring was and now there is dust everywhere lol i think im living on a work site all i need is my hard hat lol,plasterers are here today one is in the kitchen and the other one upstairs so leaving me in my living room in peace lol,i will update with a new photo when its all done
 
Wow! Hopefully the rest will at least seem to go fast!
 
Sounds like things are moving along. I hope it's all finished for you quickly. My mom's been redoing her kitchen and main bath, and it's been 5 months and it's still not finished.
 
Home renos can be so challenging! We (well, my hubby) redid our kitchen and added a second bathroom when our kiddos were tiny. That was not fun. Dust everywhere, trying to cook with tiny twin babies and a 2-year old, I don't miss that!

It's worth it in the end!
 
it's pointless to try to keep up with all the dust. I know...it's a total pain! It's going to be so wonderful when it's all done!! :)
 
i have no kitchen sink now lol,i made si go and wash up in the bath he he,managed to get gabbis room clear of dust and cleaned,tidied up and put back together just all the rest to go but yes it will all be worth it
 
Oh wow we did our stairs, and dining room last year, but in the next 3/4 months we will be knocking walls down, and building a big extention with bigger kitchen, conservorty, utility, downstairs look and a bedroom above, I have loads of pictures of my dining room in progress.

Oh wow Karen, now that is a big job! Can't wait to see pictures when it's done!! :) Hang in there!
 
Wow Karen that's quite the renovation! Really looking forward to the result! I bet it will be worth the dust in spades!

I'm holding up I have half a kitchen that's still not functional,and now a bathroom with all the tiles off wall man my house is a mess lol good thing is I get to redesign down stairs so get to buy new curtains rug and all the extras for lounge,quite excited now
