normally it is bearable, but this year is just awful - I think the smog has progressively gotten worse the last three years and that really makes it awful. I don't mind heat, I just hate not being able to get away from my sweat, and right now there is no relief. no breeze, and the water coming out of the hose in the yard is scalding. Eek!

I know what you mean... I think the whole global warming issue is making a wreck of this planet...... to me, the main problem is all the meal I have in my body plus the small injuries and my osteo arthritis/arthritis and many other itis I have in my body cope better with high heat than low temperatures...it got really cold these days here and I was in so much pain the past three days that my concentration levels were near to none, I slept 4 hours all together...so reading you, my only thought was . please take me out of this frozen square (and I am in bed, with the duvet..... but I dio remember well the sticky weather...as a matter of fact I think the day I realized that Great Britain was my home, was one day over 10 years ago, we were in North East Brazil for quiet a while as I went to see doctors for a second (and 3rd & 4th & 7th) opinion when they wanted to operate for the 4th time..... and I realized I was longing my winter clothes and crispy coldish weather of England.....
