Holiday Snacks

I guess my favorite holiday treat would the Ghirardelli dark chocolate peppermint bark squares. Funny I don’t like the Girl Scout thin mint cookies or mint chocolate chip ice cream, but I love all the other chocolate and peppermint goodies. Oh and if there is a cheesecake any flavor, I’m in.
Ginger snap cookies (Sprouts brand), but those are year round for me. Pumpkin, made some yummy pumpkin iced and hot lattes, and pumpkin oatmeal with my last can. I may be popping open another can soon.

My son reminded me this weekend that his dad (ex-husband) does not like peppermint and chocolate together, and I remember he specifically disliked Thin Mints and mint chocolate chip ice cream, so my son was going to make sure to tell his dad all about the chocolate peppermint ice cream I had at Salt & Straw! LOL I guess I'm always surprised that people don't like the same things I do! He didn't like corn either. Like, what's wrong with corn? I love it buttered with pepper or creamed or in spicy Mexican food. Enjoyed this lovely cup of peppermint hot chocolate last night:

That's the way I want ginger cookies...soft. I know Paul Hollywood wants to hear the snap, but not me!
