Ok....apparently when we were out and about the other day she had an ink pen and drew all over the door of the car! I cannot get it off! Her dad is going to be sooooooooo mad (not just at her. :( ) if I cannot get this off! Please help us! :(

Have you tried a mr clean magic eraser? I don't know how well they do with car doors but maybe worth a try? Those things have saved me more than once.

outside of door? on the paint? sharpie? i've used tea tree oil and it comes right off!

I did some googling and Oxy Clean was mentioned more than once as was the magic eraser. I guess I depends if you're talking about the interior or exterior. Rubbing alcohol was something a few people mentioned as being good too, though I'd be leery of that being too harsh.

I tried the eraser! It totally did not work! It's on the inside of the door..like the leathery part by her seat. :( It was just a regular ink pen..but I have been scrubbing at it and it won't come off! :(

ok! here's the pic of where it's the worst at. This is after scrubbing with regular soap and water and the magic eraser

Hair spray usually removes ink from clothing. So try that.

Found this: Use aerosol hairspray (Aquanet is recommended) try to remove an ink stain. Test for colorfastness in a inconspicuous spot before treating. Spray the hairspray directly onto the spot and immediately wipe up any drips that result. Allow the hairspray to sit for 1 minute before blotting the ink gently with a white cloth. Do not rub, to avoid spreading the ink. Continue to spray and blot until the ink is gone.

Try peroxide and blue dawn dish detergent...that got a red wine stain out of my living room carpet!

i've used the hairspray trick before. basically just soaked it with the hairspray and blotted it out as much as possible. worked pretty well on my couch. good luck!

i've used hairspray a lot too -works well with fabrics. too bad the magic eraser didn't work :( that has saved me a lot with pen/marker on our floors and walls ...

I showed DH the picture so he went outside got his white leather glove and I wrote on it with a regular ball point pen. He dab a little of 3-in-ONE multi purpose oilon a cloth and just dab alittle on the pen and use the dry cloth. And it came right off. You will have to wash it with soap and water afterwards. but the gloves is clean. I wrote on it really heavy(pressing hard) and then a lite scribble. They both came off. Hopefully this helps.

I also heard that WD-40 works too, but I havent tried it. I know it removes tar and gunk. Try a little spot first to make sure it works.
