Try rubbing alcohol... that's worked wonders for me in the past.

Shoot... just read that you already tried that. Oh.. I hope the oil works for you!

What about GooGone? I use that occasionally in my classroom. Of course, I would test a small area first. Good luck! Something is bound to work.

Oh how I want to know what worked b/c my 9 y/o nephew wrote on my MIL car door (inside vinyl) and nothing has seemed to work.

so far nothing at all has worked. *sigh* If I find something that does Mel I will let you know!

My son drew a giant smiley face on the carpet with a dry erase marker once. (Not water soluble) That was a fun time.

Oh noooo. :( I am betting this is the new car too. *sigh*
I'm shocked the magic eraser didn't work. I will call my guru for these matters today and see if he has any advice for you.

I used the GooGone last time we had pen in the car. Geoff picked up some stuff at Wal-Mart last time we had marker on the walls...I think it's called Graffiti Off or something like that...I think it's in the Paint section.

I am surprised the Magic Erasers didn't work...I swear by those things.

They guy from Autozone said that any Autozone store will help you if you bring the car to the store. They have several different items that would work.

thanks Cheryl! Maybe I am gonna have to cave and tell the hubby and stop in one...of course he was going to find out...but I wanted to have a plan for knowing hot to get it off or have it mostly off before he did. *sigh*
