Help me, please! I take too many photos!

I would go through & print off the highlights and then just stick the photos in a regular photo album for people to look at.

Then I would work through scrapping my favorite parts without feeling like I had to scrap EVERYTHING since the photos were already printed and being looked at by people.

I agree with going with a company like MyPublisher. (used them and quality was great) That way you can upload just your photos and fill a lot of your pages using their templates. Then your favorite photos you could do layouts and put those in here and there. That way you have the the best scrapped but still have all your photos there to look at!

If you sign up for MyPublisher you and have your book ready and waiting and when they put out a day sale that you just can't pass up you hit the buy button!

The first thing I would do is cull through the photos and get rid of those that are blurry or duplicates. I will take 20 photos of a sunset or landscape, but really have no need for that many so I'll pick a few that I like the best and then get rid of the rest. I also have to do this to clear up space on my hard drives. Plus I also feel like if I don't so this then at some point I'll have hundreds of thousands of photos and my children will never want the daunting task of going through them so they will never look at them and that defeats the purpose of taking them for memory keeping purposes.

After I cull, I then mark my favorites (in Lightroom) and only use those for my album. I would then probably make one overview album of the trip showcasing my most favorite photos and highlights of the trip and then separate albums for each country that goes more in depth and more photos. Time consuming, yes, but I enjoy the process. :)

Hmmm.... go through, and put aside or delete blurry/ones that you don't like, then start organizing. I would set them aside how you want your book to appear/flow - like each double page in a folder within the Book folder. Then all the rest... scrap randomly, and what makes you happy.

I'd go for simplicity! Liz's albums really are a great choice... or her Zine style. Plus, Lynn has a huge ton of albums that would make it easy to scrap fast and a lot of photos.
Here is a link to all of Liz's albums: https://the-lilypad.com/store/search.php?mode=search&page=1 Look for her Month in Review or Sweet and Simple Albums.

You could also share and have others scrap them for you to help!! :giggle

I would totally do more than one book. Much easier to look through, and easier to share!
