I feel so needy this week. LOL

I had a pair of earrings that I loved. Tiny gold hoops w CZ in them. I wore them literally for 5 years. Showered in them, slept in them, loved them. Then one broke. iSad.

I've been earringless pretty much ever since. I have some costume stuff that I wear for a couple hours here or there, but really, if I'm going to wear jewelry, it has to be something I can sleep in and swim in and run in and shower in, or I'm never going to remember to put it on.

I decided for mother's day, I'd buy myself a new pair. But I have no idea what I want? Simple gold hoops? CZ studs? (too cheap for diamonds, would be ultra paranoid about losing one lol) Some colored gemstone something? What's most comfortable to sleep in? Obviously it can't be anything too gigantic or it wouldn't fit any of my criteria. lol

What would you buy?
 
With your hair style, I would think slightly dangly earrings, like hoops would be a good choice so that they can be visible. As long as they are pretty small, you can sleep in them. If you get a color make it something you LOVE or you'll be tempted to change them if they don't match your clothes.
 
I have diamond studs and never wear them because I'm afraid of losing them.

I wear jewelry everyday...I work for Brighton so I have a TON of jewelry actually.

When I'm traveling though, and I don't want to have to bring a lot of different things, I have a pair of 18 carat white gold oval hoops...maybe about an inch long. Those are a great go to earring that I can wear with everything and they look great on. I can't have a post in the back either for very long...hurts my ears too much.

Debra, those are so pretty. :)

My DD got me a pair of small diamond studs. I wear them every day and haven't had any problem with them. I used to worry about losing them, but they have really good backs, so they don't ever seem to come loose. I'm totally not a jewelry type, so they are perfect for me.
 
Debra, I'd swear those are exactly like the ones I wear everyday. I always wear simply silver hoops everyday & feel naked without them. Cant go wrong with wearing them with a dress or tee/jeans.
 
I just have plain silver studs - can't wear much else due to uniform regulations for nursing school
 
I usually don't do a lot of earrings, but when I do, I prefer hoops as well. Studs are fine, but I can't even sleep in them they are so uncomfortable for me! Something about the backs of them.
