Been a quiet day for me as I woke up with a headache.

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines?
When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
How do you manage/treat the pain?

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines?
Yep though not too often compared with family who suffer from migraines all the time especially over summer. My main triggers are sleep quality & eyestrain

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
This morning

How do you manage/treat the pain?
A quiet room & rest are my first choices but I'm also not against some food & small dose of ibuprofen/Advil (I think that's the right name) which is what I did today

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines? I used to get migraines, but after my hysterectomy with ovary removal, they went away. I would only get them right as my period started. Always left side. Always felt like my left eye was super full. I had PCOS, so fortunately, that only occurred about 4 times a year, not every month.

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine? Probably 2007 for migraine. Any headache I get now is related to a cold or something else, like my neck being off or allergies or missing my morning caffeine.

How do you manage/treat the pain? I am one of the lucky ones where acetaminophen and aspirin with caffeine (usually called "Extra Strength" or something like "Excedrin Migraine") helps immensely. If I got on that as soon as I felt the twinge coming on, it would keep me functional. If I put it off, I'd have to go to a dark room to recover for a while.

Nowadays, I don't get the headache, but occasionally, I'll have an aura or ocular migraine with just the shimmery fractal-like vision disturbance. Lasts about 30 minutes, leaves a little nausea. Have been assured no stroke is occurring. Just a vascular anomaly. It's annoying because even though you can see, you can't SEE, if you know what I mean.

Sending you positive vibes for that migraine to leave you alone @littlekiwi .

I used to and lived on Advil Cold & Sinus meds, because it was the only thing that gave me relief. Then while seeing my doctor for another health issue, she asked me if I had ever had my nose broken. Come to find out, I had, as child(Hit my face on the handle bars of a snowmobile while going over a snow bank.). Anyhow, I eventually had surgery to fix the broken nose and I rarely have a migraine now. Yeah!

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
Not even sure, it's been so long.

How do you manage/treat the pain?
I used to take Advil Cold & Sinus, and when real bad, I would sleep it off in a quiet, dark room.

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines?
An occasional headache that probably can be attributed to allergies. However, I used to get migraines when I was working. When I retired 8 years ago, those stopped. Haven't had one since! At one time the doctor felt they were caused by stress and high blood pressure. Interestingly the high blood pressure went away when I retired. Coincidence? I think not!

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
Middle of September. It wasn't a bad one and an Extra Strength Tylenol helped. Ragweed pollen was extremely high at that time and I'm allergic to it. I just took it easy and skipped the meeting that I was supposed to go to that day.

How do you manage/treat the pain?
When I worked I took Aleve or ibuprofen. Since my heart surgery I'm only allowed Tylenol. Back when I had the really bad headaches Tylenol didn't work for me. For some reason, it does now. Strange.

I will get ocular migraines although I haven't had one for awhile. But I don't get nauseous with those, just can't see for awhile. Since I've been using eye drops every day for my dry eye conditions, those seem to have stopped as well.

Good to know about the eye drops for dry eye helping the ocular migraines. I have developed dry eyes after developing allergies late in life and taking allergy meds. Do you use a prescription eye drop or something over the counter?

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines?
I am plagued by headaches. Used to get awful migraines, especially hormonal related. A month when I could get through without having to miss a day of work (perhaps if the migraine landed in a weekend!) was a win. As I got old(er) :lol thankfully those lessened. But I do often suffer from really bad facial pain and while I only get classic migraines a few times a year, I have been diagnosed with with 'facial migraines' which was news to me. Grr. I also have RSI from designing which can trigger headaches.

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
I'm in a good patch at the moment, so it's been a couple of weeks since I had a headache.

How do you manage/treat the pain?
I take triptan medication for migraines. I am careful with how often though because in the worst years when the migraines were really frequent, I ended up in a loop of rebound migraines and would highly NOT recommend. A wheatbag and a darkened room is my go to.

Thank you. It eased pretty quickly this time as it hadn't really got too bad. I was also reasonably on to it and got food/drugs in to me ASAP as I didn't want a headache plus dealing with rather hot/humid spring weather

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines ?
I sometimes get headaches at the end of the day, but it's not very often (thankfully).

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine ?
I can't quite remember when the last time was.

How do you manage/treat the pain ?
At first, I thought my headaches were related to screens (computer or phone). But when I'm on holiday (away from home), I sometimes get them. However, I have found a link between my consumption of sugary foods and my headaches. Since then, I have been trying to cut down, but it's difficult because there is so much hidden sugar. However, I limit myself to afternoon snacks and I have noticed that things are getting better.

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines?
If you would have asked me about a year ago, I could have told you I never had a headache. Ever (only a few times had a bit of a 'groggy' or misty feeling in my head when I was sick. Or drank too much as an adolescent LOL). But since a year or so... I think it is perimenopausal.

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
This month

How do you manage/treat the pain?
So far, I've only tried using regular painkillers and going to bed early, but that doesn't help.

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines?
Thankfully I’ve never had a migraine. I only get mild headaches randomly.

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
I currently have a slight headache because my hair is pulled back too tight.

How do you manage/treat the pain?
If I get a bad headache I might take some ibuprofen or nap.

Eye doctor recommended Systane Complete PF. PF stands for preservative free. I had been using regular Systane for a long time but found I had to use them more throughout the day when I was working. When I talked to her about it, she said that my eyes were drying out even more and to try the preservative free. I was able to cut my usage to twice a day while I still worked. Now I use them in the mornings. Although there are some instances during allergy season (May/June and August/first frost) when I might have to use them a 2nd time especially if I'm on the computer a lot. I get it the drops at Wal-Mart.

Thank you for that information!

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines?
On rare occasions.
When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
I had a tension headache last week. Migraine....I can't remember. That must be years ago.

How do you manage/treat the pain?
Rest, relaxation/meditation and Tylenol do the trick.

I have had really bad ones when I was a newer mom. I was seeing the doctor a lot, and was taking Maxalt way back when. They have since been more random and less intense.

When was the last time you had a headache or migraine?
I'm not sure. Lately, I think it's perimenopausal, and it's not frequent.

How do you manage/treat the pain?
I used to take meds (Maxalt) or others, dark room, sleep, less interaction. I was miserable. Over time, they lessened, so if I feel one coming on, I have a soda and some chocolate, just to try to head it off. It usually works, that later I just need Advil. Advil works now, but occasionally Excedrin Migraine with caffeine. If ocular, I tend to rest and nap.

I love Systane. I use the individual little dispensers.

I get the ocular migraines probably every couple of months and they were not associated with actual headaches until recently when I had a headache migraine with light sensitivity and nausea. Just one, thankfully. I do get some headaches now and then - usually associated with lack of sleep.

I hope everyone that is being plagued by these get some relief!!!!!

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines? No, not really. The occasional headache from being tired or stressed but nothing major.
When was the last time you had a headache or migraine? Maybe a month or so ago when I had some sleepless nights and early mornings back to back leaving me with little sleep.
How do you manage/treat the pain? Usually just some Motrin or Tylenol or sleep/water

Do you suffer from headaches or migraines? Unfortunately, yes.
When was the last time you had a headache or migraine? Last week
How do you manage/treat the pain? Usually with ibuprofen

I always had trouble when using eyedrops until I found the Simply Touch Eye Drop Applicator on Amazon. A single drop on the applicator goes a long way. It is small and easy to use. When I worked, I carried it in a side pocket on my purse along with the eye drops and it was easy to use when my eyes got tired. No excess eye drops dripping down the face with it!

Then my puppy got ahold of it and chewed it when the purse was sitting on the floor one day. Luckily, I had another one that I kept in the bathroom. Bought another one for a spare! I even used it on my last bus trip when I noticed my eyes getting dry from the air conditioning while the bus was moving.
