Hard Drive Crash

Look again. CrashPlan backs up everything - NO LIMIT - starting at $4/mo. Or you can use it for free to back up between two EHDs automatically. No having to remember anything.

what Lorry says.
I have 7 years of kits/LOs, photos and plus the back ups from two previous computers into my two EHDs, one is 500g the other 1Tb....
I pay $40 a year, no limit at ALL with Crashplan-
Backblaze is similar price, they have unlimited too for around $50 but they always have offers that will take a year for $40 too...thing with Backblaze is they don't give you much support, so if you want to forget about it all, Crashplan is the way to go....

Hope you can get it all sorted!!!

Exactly this! I have 2 x 1TB EHDs and my MacBookPro, and my husband's EHD and my husbands COMPLETE set of photos and raw files (over 15,000!) all in crashplan for less than £11 a month. With crashplan you don't have to keep plugging things in - they never delete your files - whereas with BackBlaze and other services you have to keep plugging the EHD in to remind the server to keep your files.

OH man...I am sick to my stomach!!! This happened to me in the middle of MOC last year....and a couple times previously. And did I learn my lesson?!? NO!!! But now...after reading this, and remembering how completely devasted and lost I felt...I have just purchased CrashPlan. Thank you for the info on it!!! I am still holding on to a couple EHD's that I hope to be able to send away to try to have my data saved from it...any place you guys have tried in the past for that?
