Happy Retirement to me!

Hi all,

Today's the day. After 45 years of being with SwedishAmerican (my employer), I am leaving the building. Attaching a photo of one of the cakes and some flowers from my friend. More flowers and a corsage are sitting at my desk, just waiting around and doing last minute stuff before the exit party!!!!!

I was 20 when I started with this school district....I'll have a number of years, too, when I retire. Crazy that it's already been 20 years for me.

Eating my lunch, waiting for DH to show up at around 2:30 this afternoon with the chocolate cake. I started here 3 days after I turned 20. So August 17 I turned 65, August 20 is my 45th work anniversary and August 31 is my retirement. Thank you Medicare for making this happen, I did not want to pay for insurance thru "affordable care". Yes, August is a good month.
