So my grandkids have moved out of state. We always went trick or treating together, so I this year I've put together a box of goodies to send to them. I'm including some photos of them/us from previous Halloween's and a request to draw me a picture of them in their costume this year, along with some candy, trinkets and craft kits. I used Allison Pennington's Scaredy Cat kit for most of this, with a few items from her Little Monster's kit thrown in because they coordinate together well. I like the whimsical feel of it. The projects included treat bag toppers, covered journals and Dollar Store ball paddles, and for the first time I printed stickers. Her kit has a lot of doodled drawings that were perfect for this. I picked up some small markers from Dollar Tree to add to the baggie, so they can grab and craft! I'm in love with how these turned out. My favorite is probably the tiny notebook. So quick and easy to do and so cute! And a cute kitten picture for good measure . . .
Love them all!!!! and sighing as almost all my grands are college students. No longer impressed with such treats.
@pagefrocks This is seriously adorable! I wish my littles were littler than they are! Ha! Actually, my 22 y/o daughter still appreciates a cute sticker . . . maybe I should surprise her with some for her planner!
Oh my goodness! These are all amazing!!! I love that you took the time to do this for your grandkids! I bet they are going to love not only receiving a package in the mail, but all the amazing things you made for them inside!
They look so fun - I especially love the little colouring sets. I got into digi scrapbooking by creating hybrid party goodies myself.
As someone on the opposite end who just moved away from all our family- I think this is amazing. I know that packages from grandparents make my daughter so happy and this one is super special.
