Grocery Shopping

I'm with Jenn too. I like grocery shopping. It's my zone out, wonder down the aisles looking at different foods time, as long as my kids aren't with me. My husband really likes it too, but he usually buys too much stuff that is not on the list.

I feel like I sit at the computer too much as it is without doing groceries online as well.

Well, we did our first pick up today and I must say I am hooked! I was a little worried at first about someone else picking out my produce and meats etc... but I have to say it was actually even better than I would have picked out myself. I am hooked and I am so excited that, for this season in my life, I will be doing drive up grocery shopping only LOL. It's honestly the best thing since sliced bread :) and I am so excited that I do not have to waste another 2 hours of my day wandering down the isles of the grocery store!

I would love something like that! I could do the shopping online and then have the hubs pick it up. We aren't offered anything like that here though and I loathe shopping. Not only do I have drive 20 minutes to get to town; I have to go with 4 kids. By the time I have the kids in the cart (at least 2) my cart is full and shoving groceries in it is impossible. I am very thankful that they load my groceries into the car as part of the store, no tips excepted.

Oooh, I wish we could have something like this in our neigbourtown, Iwould absolutely use this! What a time- and moneysafer! And a lot less calories for my body, lol. I´m such a last minute hunter for ice-cream and chocolate, lol.

i dont mind grocery shopping but cant go when its packed cause people do my head in,i did internet grocery shopping once and when they delivered it they had substituted half the stuff and i never got to see the bargains so never did it again

Um... yes, that would make me a little mad and I don't think I would have used them again either. The place I used has a spot where you check if you want to allow substitutes but I think they actually give you a call before they will substitute and make sure it is ok. They also gave me the bagged salad that I ordered for free because the date was expiring soon. They saved me an extra $4.00 off what my total said online. I have been super impressed and I really hope the quality and friendliness will continue or I certainly won't keep it up. Of course, where this place is located is in the very ritzy part of town. Their usual clients are probably a little different than me so I am sure they try to do a good job.

Since we live 15 minutes apart, you cannot post this and not tell me what grocery store does this!

I actually hate grocery shopping too. I hate the monotony of it. I feel like I'm in deja vu land every single time. I do try to only shop every 2 weeks which means it's a big, big trip each time.
