What's 1 thing you did or that happened that you loved and 1 you hated or will not miss now we are closing the chapter on April?

me -
Loved: Easter school holidays - sometimes it's good to not go anywhere really and vacay in your own backyard
Won't miss: Hail damaged patio roof that's now repaired and new and shiny and hole-free!
 
Loved: the spring celebrations (two birthdays and Easter)
Hated: dealing with a sprained wrist
 
Loved: spring break vacay to sunny St. George.
Hated: being sick most of March and then having to play catch up most of April.
 
Loved: Easter with family and good weather for it too.
Hated: Went to check on our trailer in WA and found that the critters had eaten thru the water line so we'll be replacing it in a few wks.
 
Loved......hmm really struggled in April for positives to be honest
Hated: that's an easy one, having my house burgled while I was sleeping, loosing my laptop and discovering backblaze had only backed up 10% of my stuff......yeah not nice
 
Loved: Having a couple of days off to spend with family
Won't miss: Really cold days and that dreaded high heating bill!
 
hated hospital visits,surgery for ds
loved dd got accepted to do a masters degree and it's in the same city as her boyfriend
 
Loved: My daughter went on a service trip to Guatemala with her school over spring break. She had an amazing time and sent me tons of gorgeous photos.
Hated: That she came back extremely sick... we went to two doctors within the first two days she was home. We finally got results back yesterday (a week later) and confirmed that it was a bacterial infection, but it was too late for antibiotics since she seems better. Apparently this particular bacteria has a relatively high relapse rate, so now we wait and see. The good news is that they'll immediately treat with antibiotics if she does, versus wait for new test results.
 
Loved that DH had a chance to go to AZ to celebrate his birthday along with his two sons' birthdays (my perk was a week in the house to myself!)

Hated that I missed the time of my teeth cleaning AFTER I had taken the necessary antibiotics; I had to take them again 3 days later for the new appointment. Not a happy tummy. (Antibiotics for dental work is a downside of knee replacements to avoid any blood infection which can settle in the knee or so they tell me!)
 
loved: the warmer weather trend & seeing things bloom in the yard.
hated: that so many days were gloomy and overcast

& also hated how busy April was - I am looking forward to May and hopefully more me time/time to scrap.
 
Loved: our spring break trip and daughter's bday
hated: the crappy weather MI has during this time
 
Loved: my daughters performing in Bye Bye Birdie, buttercups blooming by hundreds across my entire front lawn (and all the other flowers that reached peak bloom here in VA), getting to the dentist finally after 2 years of insurance confusion, seeing my daughter get a role with the local dinner theater for the first time

Won't miss: The yard sale was exhausting. It was 90 degrees by mid-day and I had a lot of boxes of books to carry back inside at that time. My thigh muscles still ache. I guess that's better than my back; shows I was lifting correctly, right?
 
LOVED: Got our Raised garden beds made & planted! All my flowers & plants survived a crazy winter!

HATED: Our crazy overlap of kiddos sports- This week is much more calm with only ONE place to be each day! ;) I'm adding a 2nd too because today it is beautiful outside, but most of April was NASTY, WET, COLD and no fun! I'm hoping for May to turn our weather into a nice spring!
 
LOVED the warmer days sprinkling into the month, the smaller amount of homework from Spring break and a seeing good friends, family - hanging out, and having fun mixed with relaxing.

My dislikes are odd... I have loves for them all.... (I dislike word hate, strong word & I'm a Pollyanna!)
I missed out on Spring Break with DH and the boys since I worked - BUT I'm happy they had a blast and made some great memories. Plus, the quiet downtime week.
Too many rainy days - BUT those will turn into some awesome greens and spring/summer will be beautiful.
Stressing about MIL - BUT this means she might come visit for a few weeks in the summer! Yay!
 
I loved going to Charleston to attend my BFF's son's wedding. We had a great time celebrating and being together for nearly a whole week. I miss her so much.

What I won't miss is all the blisters pain in my feet that I get every time I walk too much. Even though I pay a fortune for good shoes, I still suffer. I don't think I can put off the bunion surgery much longer.
 
I love my parents visiting for a week!
I hated that I was sick and coughing so hard that I pulled a muscle in my ribs a few weeks ago. Rib injuries take forever to heal and it still hurts.
 
Loved: Going to Disney with my Mom and Star Wars Celebration solo.
Won't Miss: The dreaded "con crud" that I picked up at Star Wars Celebration. I was sick for 10 days after I got home!

OMG, did we have the same thing? Because I was coughing so hard that my abs hurt AND I threw up! That was one seriously nasty bug. I hope yours heals super soon!
 
Loved: Easter, Grandma's 92nd Birthday, all the green things bursting forth
Hated: Thumb and hand pain, back pain, hubby working loads of overtime
