Good news for once…..

In amongst all of the issues I’ve had with my health, I’ve still kept job hunting and today I secured a virtual job interview/assessment centre session for next week. It’s next Thursday afternoon (Wednesday 9.30pm EST). It’s a customer facing role in a government funded rehabilitation and workers compensation organisation so not a complete match to my knowledge or experience but I had enough for them to be interested in me.

It is a great opportunity to at least get a foot in the door. There was another opportunity (same job, same pay) but with much higher housing costs factored in it wasn’t worth it. This is a bit further away but I’d be more financially comfortable let’s say so I only went for the role I’ve been shortlisted for.
