Good Meals | Pad Patter 4.27.16

Went to a Thai restaurant a couple of weeks ago - love Thai flavours and this was so very good!
I love Thai food and even though we live in a super small town we have a delicious Thai food place that is really authentic. My hubby and I just went out last Saturday. I got Basil Rolls and Larb. Yum!

My hubby and I go out every 2 weeks. That's pretty much the only meal I get cooked for me, but I love cooking so I don't really mind. I do like going out with my hubby because it's the only time I can eat without being interrupted by my kids. :)

Had some chicken nachos at a bar where my husband's old work friends had gathered for a reunion/catch-up. Looking forward to some great burgers at Red Robin on Saturday. We only go on birthdays and we have a two-fer this week.

I had some fast food this week, but that doesn't count I don't think.

I love their strawberry lemonades. I went with my sister and her family and we had a blast. We had a dare of who would drink more of the lemonades without going to the bathroom. I won with 9!!!!!!

@RebeccaH Brazil has the biggest colony of Japanese people in the world, so Sarita grew up toddler years in a village that didn't have a cinema or Mc Donalds (or paved road or traffic lights LOL) but eating sushi and loves it still.... we have been getting a great deal of delivered food, Sarita has been cooking some gorgeous meals but the last great meal was actually at the local Yo Sushi which is a conveyor belt and you grab the plates from it, plates are color coded for price....
but last year they shut it down :(
gosh I can't come to food threads!!!!!!! I haven't slept almost 3 days, and haven't had proper food for almost 24 hours ...I'm waiting to post some pages I need to post to sleep, but Sarita needs to come back from work forst... now am going to have to find someone who will make me sushi LOL

we have a great BRazilian restaurant that delivers, and some American Dinner type, Burger places that make the most amazing burguers but so expensive..... oh now I need food ***cries*** :cry
:stash

My latest meal that I didn't cook was today when friends invited us for brunch at their new 2nd home. She's an architect and he's a builder and oh the house! However, she has some serious food allergies as she was heavily sprayed with DDT as a child and her mother was a Hiroshima survivor as well. I love the fact that when we got out to restaurants she is very very low maintenance!

Not surprisingly she isn't a great cook but she and her husband try. We had a lot of very fresh and healthy food but i had to laugh because like the other times they've invited us over, they don't have the knack of having things ready at the same or right time. The 8 of us had a great time nonetheless and no one went home hungry.

Restaurant meal? last Sunday when my husband's daughter took us out for a Thai meal at a place nearby that we'd never even heard of! Good flavor but almost no heat and we both like it HOT. The owner promised next time he's make it the way he eats, not American style. Yay!

Lately my meals out have been quick ... Panera ... the little Mexican taqueria by the cheer gym ... Ike's sandwich shop (Love the Pastrami and cheese with their "dirty" sauce!).
