Whoosh! (That was the sound of the holidays creeping up!) :giggle Just like summer got away from me and the holidays are sneaking up, I always seem to have a last minute gift to wrap when Christmas arrives. I love to grab an easy gift bag with some tissue paper for the wrapping.

I keep a stash of gift bags from prior gifts to re-use because those things are expensive, and why not reuse them? My only problem is that when I reuse a gift bag, I've usually already written a name on the attached gift tag and then I'm scrambling to find a cute way to add a new name to the gift bag. Enter the gift bag dangle! :D

I'd love to show you how you can use some elements from your digital kits to create some fun gift bag dangles that include a gift tag so you can reuse those gift bags too. AND, you can just make some extra gift tags to have on hand for the next time too. :agree

Step 1: Lay out the elements you'd like to use on a sheet size that you are able to print. I will be using my Silhouette Portrait machine to cut mine out, but you can easily print them and fussy cut them with scissors too.

Step 2: Create a SECOND set of the same elements, but mirror them horizontally so one of them can be the front and the other will be the back. This step is optional, but if you do a front and a back if won't matter which way the dangles are facing and you won't have to arrange them just so to get them all to have the pretty side facing out. NOTE: For elements with text, when you reverse it, it won't be legible, so you can also just clip a pretty paper to the element for the back side. :agree

Step 3: Print and cut out your elements

Step 4: Cut a few lengths of strings, yarn and/or ribbon.

Step 5: Glue the two matching pieces together with the string/yarn/ribbon in the middle. You can glue one set of elements per piece of string, or you can add several down each string. Be sure to include on gift tag on one of the strings.

Step 6: Tie the strings together onto the gift bag. BONUS, if you go to the dollar store and find some cheap clips or binder rings, you can tie all your strings onto the clip, then easily save them for next time too. :agree
