I am always the last one to know about such cool products so you all probably have seen this already but I thought it was so cool and wanted to share with my fellow pocket scrappers. Opens up all kinds of creative possibilities with PL. Fuse Tool
Peppermint has one and has tested it out. I think it was on her blog...or maybe instagram? I have to say that I'm not that impressed. For me having one more thing to store and only use sometimes is just not worth it. I've been able to have quite a bit of success just using clear thread and a sewing machine to make additional pockets. Just my two cents.
I have done them with my sewing machine as well but I ordered the tool because I needed something that takes up less room than a sewing machine, and it looks very cool. I don't have room to keep my sewing machine out all the time and it's a pain dragging it out. I have to really be in the mood for stitching to get it out.
Renne just got her's Amanda... I think she posted it on FB... I'll check. Edited.... it's on her personal page (if you can see, not sure)... but she made a pocket within a pocket. It looked so cute! IT would save you heaps of space over a sewing machine, and get the same outcome! You could pry even do shapes and other things if you have an outline! I'd love to see what you create.
Bummer. I am not on Facebook. I wish I could see it. Maybe she will post here about it. I can't wait for it to get here. ETA: I found it on her instagram. That is so cool and makes me even more excited now. So creative.
I think it looks pretty cool too. And I have to admit, the waterfall sleeves seem kinda fun too. They remind me of these old photo albums that my grandma has!
ForeverJoy - Renne made a little project using hers over the weekend - she posted it on FB. I ordered on through Amanzon that will be here Monday - I'm excited to get it. I am not a huge pocket scrapper, but do make books for our granddaughter (and will soon have a grandson to make something for). In my minds eye I can see using it to keep tickets and trinkets in for the babies (of the fun things we do through the year with them)
Hey! I DID get one- and I really really have to say- I LOVE it! It's crazy simple to use- I didnt even watch any videos on you tube- and got the hang of it in no time. I see myself using it to hold tint bits of pretty in my pocket pages- and to seal off my 12x12 photo sleeves as I cut them down, since I'm working in 9x12 now. Here's a photo of my first go at it - and a link up to my blog post:
I just ordered mine!!! I am so excited about this! I'm still going to get a sewing machine because I really like the look of stitching, but this tool opens up so many possibilities for me!!!
I have had mine for a couple days now and I have yet to find time to even open the box on it. I want to play but at the same time I don't know where to start.
Now that the European version is available (always takes a bit longer) I also ordered one, but didn't have time to try it.
I have used it several times and really like it. I most recently used it to make a pocket to hold sand from our beach trip. I still am trying to learn the right pressure and such but it's defintely been a fun tool to have in my lineup.
super cool!! Curious, I'm not a pocket scrapper IRL but I'm a sucker for a good craft tool. Could I use this on office page protectors???
I would think so. I have not tried it but office page protectors are the same material as pocket protectors aren't they?
Yeah I think they should work too. The only thing I can think of is that you may have to be more careful about how much pressure you put on them because the office page protectors tend to be thinner.
I thought this same thing!! Those old-school albums! This tool looks like something I would totally love if I still did paper scrapping! I could completely see this being super useful!
