Happy National Fun at Work Day!
I know “work” and “fun” don’t always go hand in hand, but let’s challenge ourselves today by focusing on the fun we have had at work.
My first “real” job was a lifeguard at a community pool. The pool had a big, long slide so one of the rotations was from the top of the slide to the bottom. You could take the stairs or take the slide so if the weather was nice I had some fun and took the slide. We also had a night party once a year for employees only which was always a lot of fun.
I worked at a university before I had kids and one of the things that was most fun to me was decorating the office for holidays and events. I also had fun going on treat breaks with my coworkers but those were not fun for my wallet lol
How about you? How have you had fun at work?

In our new home, my office is on the main floor, just off the hallway from the front door, around the corner from the open living area of the DR, LR, kitchen and nook area. So I don't feel so disconnected from the hub of the house like I did in our home in Kamloops. I get good light coming in from windows on either side of my desk but it doesn't glare onto my computer screen and we have UV tinted windows to block the view from the outside so it is private, you can't see in when the sun hits the windows which is almost all the time here in Alberta.
