What do your Fridays typically look like?
Do you get up at a certain time?

What do your Fridays typically look like?
Fridays are early out days for my kids so I try to squeeze in a lot before they get back home from school.

Do you get up at a certain time?
I get up at 5:50 am every weekday.

Eat a particular meal?
I like to cook crock pot chili on Fridays so we can eat it all weekend long.

Any Friday meetings or appointments?
Not today!

My work schedule is so random that no days of the week have much of anything consistent happening. It's usually really hard for me to remember what day of the week it is. I am off today and have spent all day (and all day yesterday) doing laundry. I have no idea how that much laundry accumulated, since it feels like I just did it.

On my days off, I usually wake up sometime between 5am and 7am. Today was right in the middle of that.

No idea what dinner will be yet. Most likely takeout since we are also behind on grocery shopping.

DH had lunch with a friend and has another friend coming over for gaming tonight, but I have nothing specific on my calendar today.

My days are all different depending on if Kasey is here and who is off work. Friday’s are switch days for her so we are either taking her to her mom or picking her up. (We switch on Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Today my husband was off and we took Kasey to her mom. I ended up with a migraine so spent my afternoon and most of the evening in bed. My husband did some stuff around the house and then we had pizza for dinner once my son came home. We are having a “romantic” date night of Phillies baseball watching.

You are quite the early riser on days off Kim! I like to stay in bed until 8 when I can even though I wake up before 8.

I have been terrible at planning dinner lately so everyone eats whatever they want whenever they want. I need to get back to planning and prepping…

I’m curious what game(s) your DH and his friend are playing together tonight. My DH games too but it’s all online so nobody comes over unless he wants to host his nephews.

I’m sorry about the migraine! It sounds like your days are quite random too except for the set switch days. Pizza and baseball watching is my kind of night! Love the romantic in quotes lol definitely not romantic but hopefully still enjoyable. Have a good weekend!

Umm, like every other day! I don't typically have a routine as such

As late as possible...see the tag line under my profile pic, it says my feelings towards mornings!

Eat a particular meal?
Nope not really, though we tended to do more complex or new recipes on days off together

Any Friday meetings or appointments?
No not really though I tend to try and schedule any doctors appointments to happen on Friday as I'd have money to pay (I get paid overnight Tuesday/Wednesday)

It's usually really hard for me to remember what day of the week it is

I totally get this, I used to be able to tell what day it was based on whether my mum was working (she worked shift work with non standard work days/hours)....not anymore as she has retired due to Long COVID fatigue

I usually save Sundays for new recipes since those are the days with the most time at home.

Fridays are appointment days for my kids too because they don’t like to miss school and get out early Fridays.

Good idea to nap Fridays so you can stay up late! I need to do that now that my kids want to stay out late and I’m too tired to drive them!

That's smart you do laundry Fridays so you don't have it over the weekend. I feel like I'm constantly doing laundry...

I didn't know about Friday Fish Fry so thanks for sharing! One of my kids hates fish so she has to fend for herself whenever I cook fish for the others.

Yay for no cooking on Fridays! Our schools do fundraisers at restaurants and I always love to support them so I have an excuse not to cook lol

Friday is usually a little lighter load on the schoolwork for my crew. We still get up and get started at the same time as other days. It's one of the days of the week we have no extracurricular activities so it's a more restful day! On Friday night we watch a movie and have ice cream.

Days with no extracurricular activities are definitely more restful. I love that you have movie night on Friday; I grew up with movie night on Sunday.
