Have you taken a moment to relax? I'm being forced to because I thought it would be smart to fall on my ankle with all my weight. Ugh. Nothing broke, just severely bruised and swollen. Anyway.

1. What's your favorite way to relax?
2. Do you relax enough?
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens?
4. Do you take vacation time?
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you?

1. What's your favorite way to relax? Reading a book, I read 101 books this year. Unfortunately, my eye problems have slowed me down. Thank goodness for the large text feature on my iPad.

2. Do you relax enough? Way too much.

3. Do you schedule time to relax? It is built into my retirement plan.

4. Do you take vacation time? We traveled a LOT before Covid. We did take a wonderful trip to the Grand Canyon and a mini trip over the mountains this summer.

5. Is there something thatsymbolizes relaxation for you? A book.

1. What's your favorite way to relax? When I was still working, scrapping in the evening was how I relaxed. I still scrap to relax but have also been doing jigsaw puzzles. I do like to read but have to be in the mood to do that. I go in spurts.
2. Do you relax enough? All the time, retirement is wonderful.
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? See #2
4. Do you take vacation time? I never had the money to take vacations every year when I worked so just every few years. And then they were to see family. Last actual vacation that didn't include family was a cruise in 2010 with a bunch of my online scrappy friends. I did take weekend scrapping retreats a few times as a vacation. I had planned on doing some traveling when I retired but dental issues and then pandemic happened. I do hope to visit a scrappy friend in South Dakota next summer. We'll see.
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? It's all a state of mind for me.

1. What's your favorite way to relax? Listening to my relaxation music mix.
2. Do you relax enough? No
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? My Apple watch "reminds me" that I need to deep breathe every hour. I do try to do that.
4. Do you take vacation time? Not anymore.
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? Looking at the mountains and the water. When I'm stressed, all I have to do is look out of any window in the front of the house. We have a beautiful mountain view and also a view of our small lake.

1. What's your favorite way to relax? Reading or binge-watching or surfing the net
2. Do you relax enough? Probably too much, but I'm just beat when I get home from work.
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? I come home and plop down night after night ...
4. Do you take vacation time? Absolutely yes, even if I'm just sitting at home.
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? Parked in a beach chair near the water (ocean, river, lake) reading a book.

@bestcee - oh no! I hope you can truly relax and get that ankle better!

1. What's your favorite way to relax? Read, scrap, walk
2. Do you relax enough? prob not but I'm sort of a go, go, go person so it doesn't bother me too much
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? I do set aside every Sunday afternoon to do "whatever I want" which usually translates into reading, scrapping, walking...sometimes baking
4. Do you take vacation time? Yes, but seeing as how we go with our 7 kids I wouldn't exactly call it vacation. LOL! But my hubby and I do go away for our anniversary for a few nights every summer. Sometimes we'll sneak away for a night in the winter or fall if it works out with everyone's schedule.
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? Laying in a comfy bed or laying by a pool or the ocean (not watching kids!). LOL!

Awe shucks! Sometimes I feel like those sprains are more painful than breaks! (hugs)

1. What's your favorite way to relax?
Lately on my off days, after I take my son to school, I make a fresh cup of coffee, grab my earbuds to listen to my book and go sit in the hot tub for 30 mins. It's seriously my favorite way to start my day!

2. Do you relax enough?
Probably not- we are stupid busy with kids' activities these days, but when we do have time, we try to as much as we can!

3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens?
I try hard to not schedule anything during my 'hot tub time' ;)

4. Do you take vacation time?
I am very fortunate that my office I work at takes A LOT of vacation time, and that I can take time off whenever I want, as long as I can cover my patient's for those days missed. We have 6 hygienists total, so we cover for each other a lot. I feel like my work/life balance is perfect and our Doctors have the same mindset.

5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you?
Disconnecting from electronics & fresh air symbolizes relaxing for me!

1. What's your favorite way to relax?

watch YouTube

2. Do you relax enough?

Yes

3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens?

It's part of my routine.

4. Do you take vacation time?

My new teaching job has great built-in vacations. I've just begun winter break! :D

5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you?

I'm not sure. My comfiest clothes?

Take it easy and take care of yourself.

1. What's your favorite way to relax? Napping listening to an audible book
2. Do you relax enough? Probably, I prioritize self care
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? There is enough margin in my life that it happens.
4. Do you take vacation time? Being a SAHM, no not really. Cruising and safaris when we can.
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? My garden swing, books, cats, naps, scrapbooking memories

@bestcee Oh no! I'm so sorry about your ankle! Those are the worst because they tend to linger. Hope you get better soon - praying for you!

1. What's your favorite way to relax? Reading, scrapbooking, cross stitching, watching YouTube
2. Do you relax enough? Likely more than I need to
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? It's part of my life
4. Do you take vacation time? I've tried to take time off when my hubby takes time off. I've been semi-successful, but the design muse calls when it calls. LOL I enjoy designing though, so it's not a hardship.
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? Right now, my comfy recliner, a new blanket sent to me from friends, a book, or watching TV.

1. What's your favorite way to relax? Read a book while sipping on a coffee or tea, or a quiet photo walk with my camera or taking the dogs to the park and also scrapping is relaxing for me, gets me to focus and not think about what is stressing me out.

2. Do you relax enough? I think so. I always try to make some "me" time which is hard with a job, scrapping duties, a family and 2 dogs (one which is a very active pup) but I always sit down for 1/2 hr and read my book while I have morning coffee after feeding the dogs and birds. Then in the evening I lay on the floor with the dogs and relax, binge watching a few shows with hubs.

3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? Morning and evening (see above).

4. Do you take vacation time? We used to go to our trailer in the States but of course not since COVID. For many years it was out get-away and I have lots of fond memories but I'm ready to sell it when we can and move on to new adventures.

5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? Book, TV, dogs, camera.

1. What's your favorite way to relax? sitting outside and listening to the waterfall on the pool, lounging in the pool or hot tub or listening to music or hanging with my dogs and cat
2. Do you relax enough? nope
3. Do you schedule time to relax? not really.
4. Do you take vacation time? We took our first vacay this year- once to visit my relatives in SC and then a short trip to Jamaica. First since 2019. We usually go once a year or every two years
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? spending time in the pool, sunshine ans warm weather, the dogs relaxing in the yard, TV and music. Mainly the beach is where I would love to relax. We went to the beach for a very short visit in August and it was wonderful.

Oh no!! Hope your ankle is feeling better!

1. What's your favorite way to relax? My most favorite is laying at the beach with a book, but day to day it would probably be just laying on the couch with a good book.
2. Do you relax enough? Noooo, not hardly. I have a hard time relaxing to start with. Every time I sit down, I think about a thousand things that I need to do and I don't sit still for very long at all unless I'm asleep lol.
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? On the weekends, I try to.
4. Do you take vacation time? Just during summer vacation and occasional weekend trips. I'd like to vacation more the rest of the year. I currently have 200 sick and personal days saved up and I need to start using them lol
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? Books, a cozy blanket, or the sound of the ocean.

1. What's your favorite way to relax? honestly napping or at least resting
2. Do you relax enough?
I think I do, in fact way more than I'd like but with having a sleeping disorder that comes with a large amount of fatigue I'm forced to relax
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? I don't schedule time even when I'm well to relax, if it happens it happens but my body is boss and if it says stop well I stop!
4. Do you take vacation time? No not really only because I don't work. If I was working I'd definitely take vacation time - probably two weeks around Christmas/New Years and probably a few days here and there through the year
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? As weird as this sounds....aqua aerobics - when ever I do it I feel so zen and relaxed afterwards

1. What's your favorite way to relax? - During cold weather hot bubble bath, during summer sit outside in the sunshine
2. Do you relax enough? - Yes I think so
3. Do you schedule time to relax? Or just hope it happens? - Just hope each week I get the time to run that hot bath and soak for a while in peace
4. Do you take vacation time? - Yes I get 25 days leave per year so always book a family holiday, and then have some days booked during summer that its just me home to sit in garden and do nothing
5. Is there something that symbolizes relaxation for you? - not really

Hope you get well soon :)
