It's been the last week of term 3 here this week and it's felt so much longer than a normal week

My big plans for the weekend are pretty much this

DD's social life means a little of this too

How's your week been and any plans for the weekend?

I have had a busy week and it has felt both like a blur as well as neverending. How is that possible?

This weekend I have more tiling--but I'm almost done! I'd probably get done tonight if I hadn't taken two subbing jobs this week. But hey, that's life, right?

And DD's bday party is this weekend, so I MUST pick up/clean/etc to get ready for that.

It's been a busy week here with lots of designing going on as well as going to the doctor. I'm keeping my great-niece tonight. I don't know how tired she's going to be after her long day at school, but I plan on doing some coloring with here, maybe some painting, and definitely some movies. :)

Tomorrow will be watching the football game and then scrapbooking!

Resting today. College girl is home for the weekend. I have to work Early Voting tomorrow but I am resting after that. Hope to scrap some!

Oh and I am picking my Prizes!!!

Gahhh this week has been rough! On top of the new homebound teaching job I am doing for 2 hours a day after my regular teaching job, everything's just been crazy at work. Too many fires to put out and the kids were nutso! I seriously just want to relax and scrap and chill for the entire weekend, but we do have my grandson's birthday party to go to Sunday evening.

Something is in the air, Jan, because I subbed today and the class was NOT its usual self. I even told them, "I've seen you walking down the hall with your teacher. This is not your usual behavior." (I don't like to bring up the teacher; usually I can stand on my own two feet lol, but they were just feisty!) ANYWAY, let's hope your work settles down on Monday, and I didn't realize your after-school gig was two hours a DAY. Eek, that's a long day!

I told mine that they missed the full moon by a couple of weeks. Sheesh. They were all seriously more feisty this week than normal! I hope whatever is in the air passes quickly.
It is a long day, but fortunately it is only until the middle of November! I keep telling myself, the extra money will be worth it haha! And when it's over, I'll have so much time on my hands, I won't know what to do with myself lol.

Busy school week with the kids, took my oldest to visit a college, got back this afternoon and had to immediately snuggle with my 5-year-old and take a nap (she doesn't like me to be gone - and all the driving makes me sleepy).

Tonight my plan is to work on DSD stuff after I get the kids in bed...if I can stay awake. Really struggling with energy today.

Its been a long, long LONG week here Justine! My youngest DD is already on holidays and WENT CAMPING and 4x4 driving WITH HER BOYFRIEND ..... and there was no service for 2 whole days and I had no idea if she made it there ok or not (mummy stressing like a maniac). Added to that, I had to pick up my dog's ashes from the vet and they gave me the LOVELIEST condolence card that made me bawl like a darn baby RIGHT in the surgery on a Monday afternoon with other people RIGHT THERE!! AND work is absolute mayhem at the moment because we are moving our head office in two weeks and some mental giant thought ME organising the removalists would be a brilliant idea!! I am so done with this week.

I am trying to get myself calmer this weekend and back on track .... we shall see how that goes

Everything this week is love/hate. I'm exhausted, and Gudetama is my sprit... uh... food.

- On Friday, my husband gave first aid to a man having a diabetic seizure outside of our house. (Good) Then my husband came inside after talking to his Dad on the front porch and said, "So, I kinda told my Dad he's invited for Rosh Hashanah dinner, and that you'd make him an apple challah to take home. I figure, you're already making one elaborate, braided egg bread. How hard can it be to make two?" (Bad)
- My 14 year-old asked permission to go to the climate strike (Good). But then she got to school and remembered she had a presentation in geo that afternoon and decided not to go (Good, but I'd have still let her go to the protest). But then, she decided to go to a friend's house for lunch, and that friend's parents weren't home. She didn't have permission from us to be there (School lets them leave grounds for lunch).(Bad) I found out because I was trying to find her at the climate strike, and geolocated her when she didn't respond to text messages. She is now grounded and very salty. (Miserable)
- It's my youngest's 12th birthday on Sunday(Good). It's also Rosh Hashanah, aka Jewish New Year - (Sweet), unless it's your birthday, and honestly who wants a two hour service with extra Hebrew and extra singing for their birthday? (Bad) Not her. So on top of the two apple challahs I'm making for Rosh Hashanah, I'm also making a Girl Guide thin mint cheesecake as a birthday cake for dinner tomorrow. (Good-But so fattening)

It's been a horrendously busy month - lots of stress - so, of course, I caught a cold. It took all my concentration over two days to handle picking my DSD prizes. Lots of sleeping & napping.

this week has draaaaaged on mainly because I’ve been sick in bed with a cold. I’m now up to day 12 and just in the last day or so started to really improve
