Food like/dislikes

The first' love that others don't like ' that came to mind was brussel sprouts & I'm glad to see others liking them too, I'd add broccoli & most other veg too even if it's not popular except for slimy okra, that's where I draw the line.

My ' hate that others love' is anything deep-fried really but blech KFC and fried battered/crumbed chicken & skin in general. If we have fish from a fish & chips shop somewhere, it takes me forever to eat after & is cold by the time I squish it in paper towel trying to remove as much oil as possible

I like raw red onions but not white ones. I’m weird, lol. I hate, hate, hate celery. I will pick it out of stuffing. It’s gross I hate it.

I love spicy foods. Love wasabi.

I don't have many foods that I don't like. I LOVE cooked or sautéed mushrooms but can not stand them raw.

I LOVE all of these foods too! Actually just had brussels sprouts with dinner.
Yes, me too...cooked not raw mushrooms. I make a lot of buddha bowls, full of veggies, rice and/or potatoes with a cauliflower sauce and hummus sauce drizzled overtop.

I have very few foods that I hate. One of them is cooked red peppers. I like them raw just fine, but they change to some weird taste texture when they are cooked and I actually will pick them out. I have no problem with cooked green peppers... only red. It completely doesn't make sense to me, but I just can't eat them. :giggle

We should go together! You can have all the cooked (and raw) green peppers and I will take the yellow, orange, and red. I really dislike green peppers due to their sharp taste.

Sounds perfect! :giggle

I dislike lobster and most other shellfish, except scallops and shrimp.

I love sushi. I love, love mushrooms. I even like escargot.

I don't like ketchup. I love salt and vinegar on my chips/french fries, but ketchup? no, never.

I do like tofu (especially in my favourite broccoli-tofu-peanut-sauce stir-fry). But tofu has to be prepared properly, or else it's just a bland, rubbery, flavourless mess, and it's not surprising so many people don't like it.
