We've been hit by lots of rain and we made it on Good Morning America this morning -

I drove to work in a downpour again this morning - took off my shoes to walk through the parking lot to get to my office - the water was nearly to my knees ... and still raining!

Seems like every 2 or 3 years we get hit with too much rain! Sad for the farmers in the area as there is corn down all over the region ...

Ohhhhh. My heart goes out to you and others in that path. WOW. We've been through flooding with hurricanes, and that dam break- authorities OPENED the dam during Hurricane Mitch and drowned thousands of people, destroying homes.
:angelPrayers for the area and the people being sent up now.:hug

Oh my Jill. From experience, be careful and safe, flooding waters are very dangerous, and super strong!

@JillW check out my flood post. The man getting rescued from his car took place a few feet from the building where I work. I am so thankful that no one was hurt. I can't believe you had to wade in to work. I hope you are okay.

Yikes, I'd be afraid to go out too and like Karen would want to hide in my home. It feels like you guys did just go through this not that long ago. Stay safe Jill and I hope the rains subside.
