I applied for a job on which closed on Monday (48 + hours ago) and this afternoon heard that I have been shortlisted for an interview next Wednesday (Tuesday 7.15pm EST). It is slightly more hours than I would prefer but I could make it work especially with it being in the industry I've studied in and studying in for the last 3 1/2 years. I'm feeling very anxious as this would mean so much to me in the long run as the first foot in the door.

Oh exciting and scary. But getting your foot in the door really sounds good. Good luck with the interview. I will be praying and sending good thoughts

That's exciting, Jennifer! You'll do just fine in your interview. And we'll be waiting to hear what happens. :)

This is exciting news for you and I pray that all will go well for you.

Thanks everyone, I'm hoping this will be it cause it will mean I won't be totally reliant on government support as my main source of money plus it would give me some structure.

So excited for you!! Believe in yourself, Jennifer! Keep us posted!

I echo what the others have said. Your enthusiasm and commitment should stand you in good stead.

ohhh I'm here praying and crossing all crossables you get this!!!!!!!! I know it may be a bit scary but I also know you will excel, you have passion, are dedicated and I am sure you will do an impeccable job
Keep us updated!!!!:heartlub:heartlub:heartlub

That sounds so exciting, Jennifer! I hope everything works out they way you want it to!

Exciting! Even getting shortlisted is an achievement. Good luck!

Exactly and that's the attitude I have as an interview is nothing to be ashamed of even if I don't get any further. I'm lucky that if I don't get it, financially I'll still be ok

Wonderful news!!! Please let us know how it goes.

I certainly will
