Beautiful layouts my dear, and awesome challenge! thanks for hosting, here's my take.

 

I'm going to play some more with this style. The pages for this challenge are amazing and very inspirational.

 

I really had fun playing with the gradient masks (to blend the papers into a nice ombre) and the gradient overlay on the alpha.
