Thanks so much Rebecca! I always watch for yours as well! I love how you handle your son's meets. We're heading into my daughter's first year of dance competitions so I'm using your pages as inspiration on how to handle regularly occurring events.
Ended week 7 early since we're away for the weekend and I'm going to be doing the weekend separately.
Week 7 was full of snow and writing for me, so not much to fill the spread. So here come the snow and animal pictures! Are you ready?!
Someone linked on another thread about cutting down sheets to make "inserts" for digital pages, so that is what i did this week; the plaid background represents the insert pages.
Oh my word, this thread is making me want to add elements and paint splats and stitching and ... No, I will be STRONG and stick to the plan, lol! So this is almost two weeks of Feb, weekend away that we just got back from on the next spread. And, more lego movie!
I may be getting a little carried away with the extra pages this year :-/ Here are my pages for the weekend (week 7)... And after all of the talk about inserts, I think I'm adding one (I'll just have to work up the nerve to actually cut the page in half when I get my book)... front: back: If I decide to include it, it will go in the middle of my weekend spread.
That's totally where I'm at! I'm trying to decide if these photos are worth the risk of me screwing up my book. I do a separate pocket-style album that includes all of the pictures taken at our cabin, so they will get scrapped and printed somewhere else, but I do like having them here too (if I can pull off cutting in a straight line). Hmmmm.... decisions.
Here's our weekend away in France, with possibly our last trip to Disney (haven't told the kids that!) which gets me pretty much up to date. Unless the next few days are very photogenic (which is pretty unlikely, lol!) then the next spread will go through to the following weekend as I haven't taken many pictures during our lazy rest-of-half-term.
