    hey this is up a day early, as I am headed to the big city of Albuquerque to see my son! It is an 8 hour round trip, but it is a surprise for him and I am beyond excited to hug him and rub his nappy little head. I miss him so much, and although he is not emotionally stable, he still loves to be hugged. yeah. I will be back late tomorrow night to answer any questions. I might pop in on my phone, but I am not real good on that thing. old dog - new trick kinda thing

    Welcome to Week 3- Dressing UP your Alpha/Fonts!

    Some of us remember playing with paper dolls, and the fun cutting out the outfits the little tabs and such to take the girl from her modest t-shirt and old lady underwear (or swim suit) to chic fun outfits.

    Well, I believe that alphas and fonts sometimes need a little dressing up! So, this week is to take a word, or words (totally up to you) and add at least 3 things to at least 3 LETTERS.
    example:
    I went steam punk, but you can go with flowers, smiles, staples, anything you find fun to bring your word, letters out on the page.
    I used Tangie's Steam Punk Lab Alpha from the Steampunk Laboratory Bundle:

    Very plain and then added things from Rebecca McMeen's
    Magnificent Men Bundle (on sale for today SOSN sale 2/21)

    I chose a small word "fly", cause I thought I might never finish a big word! lol

    Week 3 challenge:
    Find an alpha or font (feel free to free hand if you want) and spell a word (or words) that speaks to you.
    This will be the main focus of your page.
    Dress it up, the letters in the word. Think about the word, what it represents, why you chose it, and accessorize the actual letters. PLEASE dress up at least 3 letters and use at least 3 things (elements) on those three letters.

    ex: FARM may have hay, animals and such attached to it, or BUBBLE have water elements, or fish.

    ponder, play, and enjoy the process!

    I guess I didn't read the instructions too well. I thought I had to decorate at least 3 letters, which I pretty much decorated them all. But I don't have 3 decorations on each. I do have 11 decorations, and divided by 3 that would more than cover the 9 decoration requirement. LOL. If you need me to add some buttons, etc. I can.

    Later, back at home. Well, I added more "stuff" to my layout. There has to be at least 3 elements on some of these letters. :-)

    I looked at all my alpha to find which one to use. Had no word in mind till I saw this set by Paula Kesselring. I AM just had to be done - an all about me sort of page. Mucho mucho fun!! Thank you, Anne. Hope your visit went very well.

    @AnneofAlamo OK, I'm confused!! I uploaded my layout but want to clarify before I bring it over here. Is it three letters with one or more elements on each letter or is it three letters with three elements on each letter??????? :hummm

    I love your page and I didn't read well either.. I adorned all the letters but not 3 things on each... I love your Circus and I don't see there is a problem.. I bet Anne just didn't want the letters Naked! :) I love it though!!
