Favourite Scrappy Basics

I love Rachel’s new Foundation kits, great neutrals but with texture and easy to match with other kits.

For me, it's foliage and flowers! I also love string or curly ribbon. Other than that, word art and at least 1 themed element! I pretty much let the template tell me what I need on the page! ;)

I've loved seeing the products in this thread! I have been thinking about this question, actually, as I've been scrapping over the past day or so... and I've realized I don't actually have a bunch of go-to's. I think I tend to be a mixer of products, and so this leads me to use lots and lots of variety. I don't seem to come back to the same ol' goodies over and over. I will say, though, that if I'm looking for a versatile alpha, I often reach for Allison's brush sets.

One thing that I have fallen in love with lately is "Foundations" from Memory Pockets Monthly!!

Since I like to scrap in neutrals for the most part with pops of other colors, it gives me a great variety of earth tone elements and papers!

I have all of Amy Wolff's Mega Solids Paper Packs and use them all the time!

I also love neutrals and Allison Pennington's Subfloors (she has 3 packs) are a must have:

If I need a button, and the kit I'm using doesn't have one, I almost always go to Gina Miller's Button Bonanza Mega Pack:

If you like fasteners, there is also Lynn Grieveson's Fasten It pack:

And if I need to point something out (especially if I don't want to obscure something else), I love Sahlin Studio's Acrylic Arrows:

I keep a separate folder called "Basics" that I store all these and much much more!

I like patterned papers and textured solids. Now that I have seen Paula's Basic Black I am in love and want it. Lots of greenery/flowers and non-dimensional products like masks, stamps, overlays, paint, etc.
