Right now I am snacking on Artichoke and Asiago Dip with rice crackers. I eat hummus a lot but today was craving this one, although don't eat it too often b/c of the fat content. I'm not partial to any particular brand.

I had rice last night with a locally made sauce drizzled overtop, it is like a caesar dressing but milder and has a pronounced lemon/garlic flavor.

For chips or nachos I like a queso dip that our Costco used to sell but the new manager there discontinued it.

For fruit, I make a dip with defatted peanut powder, honey, yogurt and cinnamon.

I have too many to count...
I recently made a Mexican Street Corn dip that was highly addictive, and I love French Onion dip (also good on baked poatoes) .. and I love BLT dip...
for fruit I make a fluffy pink dip or a cinnomon sugar dip
I also love cheese cake dip for fruit
I make a killer chicken wing sauce with Buffalo sauce and ceaser dressing mixed with tons of pamasan cheese

There's an amazing local company here that makes almost all of my fave sauces/dressings/condiments. The only ones they don't make are Heinz Ketchup, Best Foods Mayonnaise & a Gherkin Relish

    We regularly have on rotation:
    • Caramelized Onion Relish (to be fair we rotate between three brands depending on what's on sale)
    • Raspberry Vinaigrette - we often mix it in with mayonnaise to make a creamy dressing
    • Balsamic Mint Sauce
    • Plum Sauce
    • Cranberry Sauce
    • Smooth Apple Sauce
    • Apricot with Mango Sauce
They also make drink syrups, marinades, jam (preserves) which we buy semi regularly as plus a whole bunch of other products.

I also used to buy a tomato relish but the grocery store brand changed their recipe to include wheat flour which I can't have - I had changed to that one because a) it was cheaper but b) it wasn't as watery as the two other brands I had tried previously so I haven't found a new one yet.

I would have to say buffalo chicken dip is my all time favorite. I also love guacamole, spinach dip, and a cheesecake dip for fruit.

I love lots of sauces and dips and spreads. My favorite are all the homemade ones I've made in the last couple of years. There's the sweet mustard dressing made with dijon mustard and maple syrup and tahini. I recently made a garlic aioli that was yummy and mahammaruh, a Middle Eastern red pepper dip, that was delicious. :love

Also I eat a lot of store-bought hummus. I have made it homemade a couple of times but I felt like, while it's better at first, after refrigerating it it's similar to store-bought, and I can't eat it all right away, so the effort isn't worth it. My favorite brand is Ithaca.

Lipton soup onion dip and nacho cheese made with Velveeta and taco sauce/salsa/Rotel. I have a recipe for roasted red pepper dip that’s yummy, and I love the spinach artichoke dip from Sweetwater Tavern.

Does salsa count as a dip? I love plain ole chips and a spicy salsa. Also, I LOVE dill dip with carrots, but I hadn't had it in forever. The last time my friend and I did a scrapbooking weekend, I saw it at the store and grabbed some. It was so tasty. My scrappy friend also makes a buffalo chicken dip sometimes when we scrap that is also delicious.

My problem though is that I buy a tub of dip and have some for a couple days, then it sits in the fridge until I finally end up throwing it away. Whoops.

Mexican street corn dip sounds good but I googled and saw that it looks like most recipes require cilantro which I don't like. Does your recipe have that? I am also intrigued by the chicken wing sauce.

It's nice to find a company that makes a sauce/dip you like. When we lived in BC there was a local company that made a garlic parmesan spread that I loved to use for homemade airfryed garlic bread but haven't found anything similar to that in Alberta yet.

Hmmm...not sure if our Costco has the jalapeno artichoke dip or not. Will have to check. Is it very spicy? I like a mild/med spice.

This is easy to make and a definite crowd pleaser.
Addictive Corn Dip. Not for the low-calorie/low-fat group. Ha. Great for a big party, though. Also easy to halve for a smaller get-together. Needs to sit for several hours for flavors to meld before serving.

    Ingredients
    • 2 cans (11 Oz. Can) Mexi-corn
    • 16 ounces, weight Sour Cream
    • 1 cup (Real) Mayonnaise
    • ½ whole Lime (juice Only)
    • 1 bunch Cilantro
    • 4 stalks Green Onions
    • 1 teaspoon Cumin
    • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
    • 2 cups Four Cheese Mexican Blend Shredded
    • 2 bags (12 Oz. Bag) Tortillas Chips
    Preparation

Mix together the corn, sour cream, and mayonnaise.

Slice the lime in half and squeeze the juice from one half over the corn mixture; mix well.

Chop the cilantro and green onions. Add to the corn mixture.

Blend in the cumin and cayenne pepper.

    Mix in shredded cheese.

Refrigerate overnight. Serve with tortilla chips.

Guacamole, or a dip my lil one has made ever since a child which includes cream cheese, chopped ham and gherkins. We are not big on dips. Swiss are not big on these either it seems, so it's what we can make ourselves at home, I will read your replies to see if I could make the current list of two that I use longer :)

Nope not really spicy at all. I think they sell it other places too - made by La Terra Fina.

I love this garlic dip a high school friend made long ago.

    8 oz cream cheese, softened
    1 c yogurt
2-3 T mayonaisse (may be omitted)
8 oz white cheese (we usually use mozzarella)
Salt to taste (I never add any because we eat it with salty chips)
Minced garlic to taste (one clove to start, then add more if desired)
