Are you having as much fun as I am going through your digital stash in celebration of 11 years worth of Build Your Own Collection??

I had at least one kit for each year and at least one product for each month of the year. I typically keep kits separated by designer. But for this event, I moved BYOCs into month and year folders (so I could create in the coordinated colors). I found it interesting that I had more November collections than any others. And it was a lot of fun visiting old favorites - Amy Wolff and Valorie Wibbens kits are examples.


As you look through your stash, or purchase some kits to add to your BYOC stash, do you have a favorite collection or layout you made?

I am not one to have favorites - as each BYOC is spectacular! But I truly enjoyed going back to some old favorites....

There are so many, but one kit I keep returning to is Carpe Diem by Kim Jensen. Funny really, cuz I always say I don't like pink.

I love them all!! The variety of styles in each one while sticking to the same color palette amazes me each and every time. I had the best time going through them, but I landed on December 2018...I just adore the colors

I would have to search through all of my kits to figure out if I even have any besides the one that came to mind, Healthy and Fit by Kristin Aagard in January 2016. Loved the purple in that one.

I hope it's okay to ask a silly question here, but with the buy more and save % I am not sure how it works. I know you don't need a discount code, when does the discount come through? I am not seeing a discount on my purchase. Thanks so much, Val.

Just making sure you've seen the flyer in the newsletter and banner on the store homepage...

So, you should see the discount after you hit the checkout button. You should see a discount subtotal and total.

This is like choosing your favorite child; they are all good! Looking back, I used the JUNE 2017 BYOC frequently. The vibrant colors go so well with outdoor layouts.

What a great chat idea Lisa! Why didn’t I think of this?! My favorite BYOC collections are the two created from my color palettes: March 2021 and March 2020. I also love December 2018 with Jan; those neutrals are so pretty!

I love the December/winter/muted Christmas ones of the last several years, difficult not to buy all the things!!

Ha! Yes, so true. I don't really have a favorite...they are all wonderful! But it was sure fun to revisit designers I had not used for awhile.

I love it when that happens! Sometimes new kits come out fast and furious...but I'm like, I could make 10 more layouts with that one kit.
