Fave Disney Movie | Pad Patter 2.22

That Parent Trap was a good movie. Also gotta love some of the oldies like "The Shaggy Dog" (1959), "The Absent-Minded Professor" (1961) and can't forget "That Darn Cat!" (1965). Slapstick comedy at its best. (Showing my age here...)
Oh my goodness, these are totally some of my favs of all time!! I adore the oldies! I have to add Bedknobs and Broomsticks, Herbie, Escape to Witch Mountain, and The Apple Dumpling Gang.
There are so many greats! The Lion King is up there for me. I was just looking at a complete list and I'd be here all evening if I listed all the ones I love!

I never saw Bedknobs, Witch Mountain or Apple Dumpling Gang. I was in high school for Bedknobs and college for the others. I was "too cool" for Disney movies in those days!

It's a tie between my childhood favorite:

my adult favorites:

"Meet The Robinsons" (which so does not get enough love) with my favorite Disney character of all time Wilbur Robinson:

This is my 13 year-old's favourite movie, she's watched it 100 times. I do kinda love, "keep moving forward." It's a good motto. (Also-- Naomi's Princess is Belle).

Just like "best friend" is a tier, not a person... "Favourite movie" is a tier, not a single film. I love:

Animated - Snow White, Fantasia, The Little Mermaid, Frozen, Moana and Up
Live Action - The Shaggy Dog, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and Hocus Pocus

I'm going with Lady and the Tramp because it was the first movie I saw in a theater. It was also the first time I went to a Wendy's and I was fascinated with the beaded curtain that was in the fast food restaurant! I swear that's why I still love all kinds of chandeliers, crystals and beds - all the sparklies, please!

My oldest son loved 101 Dalmatians and 2nd son loved Space Jam. We had to set limits of one viewing per day for both of them. My DD never got crazy about movies or even TV shows so I don't know what her favorite is.
LOL DS watched the start Toy Story 3 almost daily for at least 6mths but his 'one thing' souvenir from DLP was Hound Dog - he had a choice of every toy in the store and chose a dog he had never seen in a book or movie at that point - he squished the stuffing out of him til he looked more like a sausage dog!

this is part of why i love Disney - so many memories and not just of the shows- that wall paper is killer too!

If I had more than one kid, this would be like you making me pick my favourite child! You just can't! Ok, but I will. Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and Beauty and the Beast....but there are so many others I love...I can't...running away!
ha! yep - so true! i'm like some disney villain trying to make you choose!

i still haven't seen the live action remake of B&B - i went to watch it before netflix got rid of it but they either did it a day early or i missed it by a few hours - if only i had had a rose losing petals in a glass vessel as a countdown timer, i may not have missed it

Hmmm, I think I'd have to go with Aladdin! I just think he and Jasmine are so sweet. I could watch it over and over LOL. I also love Beauty and the Beast & Pocahontas.
I think i could watch Aladdin a million times and still not get every joke the Genie made! (And i loved the speechless expressions of the Tiger and Rug - that they could do so much with old school animation still astounds me!)

Oh we Love Emperor's New Groove. My friend's kids (now 25) can quote the entire movie between the 4 of them (yes, all born at the same time).

My all time favorite is Cinderella the animated version
I loved how all her animal friends help her and who wouldn’t want a Fairy Godmother
