It's Project Mouse FANniversary and so I'm thinking all things Disney today so what's your favourite Disney movie or character? What makes it or them your favourite? (feel free to add a gif)

Ok if picking 1 fave is too hard, you can post your top 3!

Beauty & the Beast is still my fave many years after seeing it in the cinema when it was released - it might be the wonderful library or the helpful & entertaining cooking and cleaning staff, i'd love to be their guest!

I'm a Mickey Mouse girl. I used to have a personal license plate that read mckylvr (Mickey Lover). I have a different personalized plate now so I had to release that one. He's just a classic.

My favorite movie is Mary Poppins. In 3rd grade we did a Mary Poppins theme for a Spring performance and I have loved it ever since.

It's a tie between my childhood favorite:

(I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the live-action version.)

+

my adult favorites:

"Meet The Robinsons" (which so does not get enough love) with my favorite Disney character of all time Wilbur Robinson:

and Beauty and the Beast! Which... I saw on Broadway in NYC, and it was awesome! Beyond thrilled that DH bought tickets one year! Loved the Live Action too!

The Lion King, Aladdin and Mary Poppins!!

If Pixar movies are included it would be tough to name my top 3 so I'm not including them...ha ha.

The original 101 Dalmatians. Love it so much I bought the VHS tape when it was out and got the DVD as well.
I may own Beauty and the Beast (animated one) both regular DVD, as well as the super deluxe Blu-ray set when it released.... :giggle

Yeah those hard choices...

This was my very favorite as a kid:

And this was my fave as an adult (@LeeAndra is right, nowhere near the love it deserves):

But then I finally watched this:

Old Yeller, Mary Poppins, and the Parent Trap! (Original parent trap with Hailey Mills)

That Parent Trap was a good movie. Also gotta love some of the oldies like "The Shaggy Dog" (1959), "The Absent-Minded Professor" (1961) and can't forget "That Darn Cat!" (1965). Slapstick comedy at its best. (Showing my age here...)

I loved the Herbie movies too and what about the Flubber movies.. I love the ones with Fred McMurray, and yup I am dating myself too... I have never seen Aladdin or the other fairly new ones like Frozen or Beauty & the Beast... I just don't like them as much (no little ones around) I really love the old classics being an old classic (1961) myself :) ... I think I am going to rent the Greyfriar's Bobby this weekend as we visited the grave etc when we were in Scotland both times we were in Edinburgh but I never saw the movie. I just did a search and I can rent it on FIOS for $3.99 so I may do that this weekend :)

@cfile Flubber movies were great too! Fred McMurray and Dean Jones were in a lot of the movies. As was Kurt Russell and the gal I idolized in those days... Annette Funicello.

I was looking at the wikipedia page listing of all Disney movies and there were a lot of titles listed from the 50's and 60's that bring smiles to my face. I've never gotten into the more recent, animated movies either since I have no children.

Mine is:

And this other dog one:

My oldest son loved 101 Dalmatians and 2nd son loved Space Jam. We had to set limits of one viewing per day for both of them. My DD never got crazy about movies or even TV shows so I don't know what her favorite is.

Hmmm, I think I'd have to go with Aladdin! I just think he and Jasmine are so sweet. I could watch it over and over LOL. I also love Beauty and the Beast & Pocahontas.

Oh my, its like asking to pick a favourite kid.... impossible. Actually I think picking a favourite kid might be easier, haha.

Growing up, hands down I loved the Lion King. I love the music in that movie! Beauty and the Beast is another top one for me. I also love Tangled and Princess and the frog (those movies never got the attention they deserved). So many others though, like Mary Poppins and Newsies are soundtracks I listen to almost daily.

As for characters, I'm a Mickey Mouse fan through and through (my engagement ring is even a Mickey!). As for other characters I'm a sidekick fan. I love chip from Beauty and the Beast, I find pua from moana adorable and sad he didnt play a bigger role (even though Hei Hei was hilarious). I love figment and mushu, pascal and gus. Just too many to pick a favourite.

Oh, so many! Parent Trap, Pollyanna, Summer Magic, Mary Poppins.

If I had more than one kid, this would be like you making me pick my favourite child! You just can't! Ok, but I will. Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and Beauty and the Beast....but there are so many others I love...I can't...running away!
