I love fall...it's definitely my favorite season. Confession: I have way tooooo many fall decorations. My husband would agree because he spent the evening hauling them out of the basement for me. The nest is now nicely feathered with autumn touches of pumpkins, leaves, sunflowers, etc. It feels so much cozier to me. Do you put out anything special for fall or do you skip the seasonal decorating?

I always LOVE the looks of fall decorations, and I have the best of intentions each fall, but I generally just change my wreath accessories (I have a burlap one that I change out the accessories to each season), maybe buy a mum or two, and if I am lucky I will grab a few stalks of corn from my mom's garden to put on my porch posts! I am usually too cheap too buy too many accessories, even though I LOVE the look of a well done porch!

I have great intentions, but somehow never find the time to do any decorating (or even shopping for decorating). My sister on the other hand does a beautiful job with seasonal decorating and her home always looks so professional arranged.

I only decorate outside for Halloween and Christmas. The only inside decorations at Christmas are the tree, stockings and the stocking holders that sit on the mantle of the fireplace. I am a minimalist, plus we move so much that I hate having a lot of extra stuff that needs to be in storage/closets.

Oh, and as Heather said, my sister usually does a great job of decorating inside. She takes after our mom in that aspect. My mom always goes all out too.

I am not a huge fan of fall, so I tend to not decorate for it very much. I do have a few little Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations that I will pull out to spruce up something like our fireplace mantel, but it's pretty minimal.

I do love fall scents, though, especially all the pumpkin stuff at Bath and Body Works (their Pumpkin Caramel Latte candle is my absolute favorite), so I'll definitely break those out!

in years past I have decorated. however, with all of our moves, like Amy Lee said (@StarryEyedDesigns), I find the extra decorations to be just one extra thing to have to haul around and store somewhere. Truly, my decorations for every season have decreased drastically over the years - even my Halloween and Christmas decorations have been whittled down to the bare bones. Maybe now that we're situated and HOPEFULLLY staying put, I can start building it back up again.

I used to decorate for every season. I just loved it! Wreathes, decorations, dishes, tablecloths. You name it. But I just don't have the time or energy anymore.

Now it's just for Christmas, and that's if my family agrees to help. If they don't help, I don't decorate. The reason is it would take me approximately 4-5 days to get everything done, from setting up the tree (2 days - we have an artificial one that needs a lot of TLC to set up!), to replacing the dishes, to everything else. One year no one wanted to help, so nothing got done. No tree, nothing. The following year my DH took over the decorating, barking out orders to everyone (except me :giggle) , and everything got done in one day. Imagine that!

I.love.fall. Seriously love it - the weather, the colors, all of it. It's just now starting to get cooler, so I'm starting to get into the decorating mode!

I'm a summer/indian summer girl. I don't really decorate (I am not a good decorator either)... I usually just add a couple of themed elements around, and a wreath on our door. After we go pumpkin picking, we usually put those on the front steps too. We do decorate a little for Halloween outside, and put some Halloween lights in the boys room. We decorate inside and outside for Christmas. I have too much stuff for that holiday, as my mom keeps giving me more! I've at least said to but for other holidays now, lol! I need to purge and figure out what I really like and donate, share or so something with the extra.

I always want to decorate, but being a generally frugal person and living in a small apartment (with nothing even approaching a basement for storage!), I can never really justify purchasing a lot of decorations. I do have some prints in frames that I swap out for fall and winter, and I do have a couple of pieces of fall decor (a fake pumpkin and a metal jack-o-lantern luminary) but I can never really find a place to put them.

I would love to find a small collection of decorations to put out ... I do actually have a place in our entryway that would be perfect for placing a few smaller items. I think I might head over to Michaels and see what I can find!!

Christmas is my big decorate the house..but oh how I love a good fall pumpkin spice or wood fire candle! but 91 degrees today..not in the fall mood quite yet lol...
but I am end of summer cleaning in the hopes of the crisp weather coming soon!

Nope, don't decorate for fall but I do love warm fall colors which shows in my home decor with my LR and DR being taupe, rust, gold and cream, bedrooms are green/cream/taupe and my kitchen is cream and orange.

Confession time, I have a pretty big collection of little Halloween themed houses that I haven't put out since having children--so in @9 years. I'm sure my kids would love them, but I'd have to declutter to decorate. We'll see. I always put up a wreath & have lots of pumpkins. We love Halloween.

I try to put few little things about the current season for the children and they love it.

Not a decorator for any season. I don't know why... but I just don't have it in me. I love seeing pics of other people's fancy decorations, but I can't seem to pull it together.

Ah, Halloween, the one time of the year when the spider webs on the front porch are "okay". I decorate for Christmas but that is about it. We have 2 trees - a kid's tree in the family room and my tree in the living room.

I love seeing other people's fall decor, but I have just never done much. It's probably a combination of things. I dread fall because the clean up of leaves in my yard is ridiculous so I don't feel particularly celebratory lol. I've also never been one to want to spend money on things that I'm only going to have out for a short while and then have to try to find a space to store. I used to go all out for Halloween, because I seriously love it, but the past few years I just flat out haven't had the time to do anything.

I have all my pumpkins ready! but not til October. :carryon

I don't do that much for other seasons but I do love fall. Each year I cut back on my stuff and it depends if we're traveling too. This year my daughter will get a bunch of my things (a 10 y.o. granddaughter is the right age for a lot of fun things) but I am keeping a wreath for either our front door or a spot on the front of our house. I also have a pine cone wreath that a late friend made for me and I have little clusters from the craft store for each season.

I also collect pine cones from our trips south and have painted a lot gold over time, and as soon as it gets cooler I may dip a bunch into white paint rather than take the time to spray them. I keep them out through the winter in big bowls or bins which is about all that I have out after Christmas.

I am another one who is too cheap to decorate seasonally. Even for Christmas I am minimal in my decorating at best. I love to drool over Pinterest ideas but I don't follow through. I always would do a warm weather front door wreath and a fall and holiday wreath too. But we have crazy birds that hide out in those wreaths and fly in when we open the doors. I don't know what they are but they are fierce! And have gotten inside too many times to count over the years. My husband refuses to be the bird catcher anymore and it simply freaks me out so ... no more wreaths are even hung.

I love fall, but I don't do a whole lot when it comes to decorating. I did buy two pots of mums and then we'll probably let the kids pick out a pumpkin or two to put on our doorstep...that's it.
