Our handheld vacuum started acting up so we bought a new vacuum and I’m excited to try it out soon!

That sounds so fun! Yesterday I tried to scrap by my daughters and ended up socializing more than scrapping so I know how that goes lol
 
To be honest not much....life has been incredibly stressful the last few weeks and the stress is still hanging over my family & I for the foreseeable future. If I was really pressed to say what I was excited about....it would be job opportunities, I know it's a weird thing to say but it's very rare to have more than one job opportunity "live" at any given time. Right now I've got one I applied to on 7/10 and three that close in the next week or so.

Sounds like you may have been shopping Prime day deals too! ;) My daughter has been begging me for a new comforter. Yay for all things cozy!

I'm excited to be slowly making our way home after travelling for almost 2 months. It has all been absolutely amazing but it is time to go home now.

A friend of mine and I are both turning 50 this summer, so we decided to plan an art weekend for ourselves. We are going to stay at my house for a 3 day weekend and are going to plan a bunch of art projects to work on that weekend. I can’t wait for some uninterrupted art time!! We are doing that the first weekend of August. Yippee!! :D
 
I'm so looking forward to my first vacation since 2016. A college friend and I are going on a bus trip from Ohio to Cape Cod in October.

Had this question been asked last Friday, I would have said seeing my cousins from Florida. They stopped at my house for a couple hours on Saturday on their way to Michigan. They drove to bring the paddle board and skis needed for their week at a lake! They were going to spend this week visiting with friends in Toledo (where they used to live) before going to the lake today. The daughter's family is flying in today to join them for the week (thus needing the paddle board and skis).

I know it sounds weird, but I'm looking forward to school starting... I'm enjoying these last couple of weeks of summer, but since I organize a couple of our local homeschool groups I'm ready to get things going and be done with the planning and organizing (summer can be a little stressful, planning classes, getting tutors in place, training, getting families registered, buying supplies, etc). I just want to get started and be done with the planning and organizing.
 
Rain!!! We finally got a little rain! My poor flowers and veggies this year are so sad. We haven't had any rain for well over a month. I have only mowed my lawn twice since May. Everything is so brown! We are supposed to get more this week, so I hope everything starts to thrive again.

I also look forward to school starting but that’s because I get a quiet house and structure back. ;) Good luck with all that planning and organizing!
