I don't know about you, maybe it's just because I haven't scrapped in a while and I am really enjoying it, but I can't wait for next week and some more challenges! How do you feel about the pace of this event? Are you enjoying it so far? I'm going to be home all summer, so I'll be around each week, but I can see how the slower pace would work well for vacationers! We have company coming to visit us here in New Brunswick, & I run 2 Airbnbs, so I have those to tend to. Aside from that, I'll be hiking, gardening and spending time with my kids/grand-kids. We have amazing beaches nearby and the water is surprisingly warm for Canada!

    What are your summer plans?

I am home for the rest of the summer. Yay! But we just got back from a 3 week road trip. WE flew into Georgia, rented a car and drove up the coast visiting all of the historic places to Boston, Massachusetts. Learned I hated to drive in NYC! And only had to circle Dupont Circle 6 times before I finally made it out in tears! Never again! But what an adventure! Happy to be home and ready to scrapbook!

I've been working this week. Not used to it, I'm sooo tired. I hope to catch up with the challenges this weekend. No more work planned so I guess I'll stay here at the camp ground, having fun for the rest of the summer.

@Lynne-Marie, I'm liking the slower pace since I also have CT LOs to do for two non-TLP designers, as well as house work to catch up on (no fun!). The challenges & games have been fun so far. I don't really have any summer plans, either, besides scrapping and maybe some gardening. I was actually at the greenhouse to buy a few plants today! Beaches near your house sounds amazing! I am surrounded by cornfields and no beach within a couple hours. And grandkids, too! How fun! My kids are 21, 18, and 15. This is the first 4th of July where my two older kids are away with their boyfriend/girlfriend so no real plans for the 4th of July, here in the US, either.

By the way, my name is Lynn, without an E and my middle name is Marie...so every time I see your name it makes me smile!

I think the pace is perfect, especially since I'm also attempting to do summer challenges at another store too. We're currently on summer break from homeschooling and I am enjoying having time to scrap.

My plans are to do as little as humanly possible because it is so hot out but my mom is on summer break from school and wants to go do all the things. I'm sure we'll have a few indoor field trips (glow golf, maybe?) but I just want to breathe. 2025 has been kicking my butt and having nothing to do/be responsible for sounds fantastic. My son thinks we need to do family Mario Party every single day and, as long as I don't have to scrap each and every party, I am on board!

Nothing special this summer as my knees hurt and can't really walk long or sightseeing. Hubby will go to Korea for work first and then stay a bit to meet family but I won't join. It's just too difficult to travel other than with a car lol
IT's darn too hot anyway, both Japan and Korea soooo plenty of time to stay home and scrap, design... hopefully.

Lynne - Marie, you live in such a beautiful area. I loved visiting there years ago. I plan on getting in lots of road biking and spending time with family. Time at home is actually a nice change since I've been traveling so much these last few years. Thanks for sharing and enjoy! :)

I do like the pace, but I really must try and limit the number of kits I'm using - however, the store search is working great to search by kit name to link the credits. It's a bit different from the main home page as it seems to be quite specific vs the search in a designer's store. I'm pretty much caught up with Week 1 - I did re-do my siggy, but there was something in this BYOC release that I like better than the older element I used, so going to tweak that before I upload and change it.

I'm excited to see what adventures we will tackle next week.

Well, now I will never forget your name! It's confusing sometimes with the avatar names. Are your kids girls, boys or a mix? I have 3 boys aged 18, 20 and 24. The oldest is married and has two beautiful daughters ages (almost) 3 and 1. They live in the countryside near the ocean about 40 minutes from me.

If you ever come back and want to visit the Fundy area, one of our Airbnbs is at my son's house, nestled on the Scenic Route between Hopewell Rocks and Fundy Park! Great for biking! The house was built in 1847 & completely restored. It was once a thriving orchard, but is now overgrown from years of abandonment. We do have about a dozen fruit trees that produce well though. The Airbnb has a separate entrance and stairwell going up to what was once the servants quarters, but is now the nicest & largest room of them all!

My oldest daughter is 21, a senior in college this year. My boys are 18 and 15. I still can't believe they are that old!
