Evenings? the last hour?| Pad Patter 1.13.2017

First of all I am usually in bed by 9:00 PM since morning starts at 4:00 so here to my normal day routine:

Up at 3:50 (M-F) - we exercise for 30 minutes
4:30 get ready for work
5:00 hubby leaves for work
5:30 I leave for work
6:15 start work
3:30 leave work
4:00 - 5:00 (depending on traffic) eat dinner
8:00 (normally) bath time/clean up time - sit on the couch and putter around on computer
9:00 normally in bed

My evening normally consists that around 6:30 - 7:00 I sit on couch and do either layouts/reviewing websites etc and watching college basketball (I am the sports fanatic in my house).

I used to be a huge night owl never getting into bed until 4 or 5 am but since going back to work a few years ago my routine has changed up quite a bit! LOL

My hubs don't get home from work until around 7pm then we cook/eat supper..eat together, and get kitchen picked up. I normally try to compute before he gets home so I can spend time with him watching tv when he gets in but I do alot compute after supper as well if he's not watching anything I really like!

I have to get up alot earlier than him (3am on Fridays and 4am Monday - Thursday) so I usually like to be in bed no later than 10pm. He normally stays up after me mostly around midnight or so and lets the dogs out one last time, locks up, and crawls in bed and watches tv until he falls asleep.

I am allowed to tuck in my boys, so I make them get ready (brush teeth wash faces, etc) then we "cuddle" in my bed and talk about their days. Sometimes we still read together too. Then I put them in bed and get their blankets sorted. I think they must jog in bed at night! Lol! Then I decide if I'm going to go back on the computer or craft room for a little bit or usually I head to bed to play on my phone, clean up emails and then read until I go to sleep.

I usually spend time on the computer in the evening, watch TV for an hour or so before bed, then read for about ten minutes.

Kids go to bed around 8 (daughter allowed to read in her room until 9.) Then hubs & I usually watch our shows we've recorded (OMGosh- have you guys seen Snoop & Martha's POTluck Dinner Party Show!? Flippin' hilarious! We totally randomly found it last night & stayed up way too late- but DYING laughing the whole time!) Anywho... back to my subject... if we don't have shows to watch, we play cribbage. If he's watching some of his 'stupid man' shows, I usually scrap in the office. I really wanted a laptop this year so I can scrap while he watches his shows that I don't like next to him on the couch at least- but I was adulting & paid my sons hospital bill instead of buying my laptop. :( We try to get to bed by 10 but sometimes more like 11!

Here's the you tube preview for that show... omgosh hilarious!

I am a night owl so everyone is normally fast alseep before me, including the dogs. I spend most of my evenings reading, watching tv, on my computer scrapping or pottering around the house.

we also do a spider check.
yes this - how annoying is that? as of yesterday, there is a huntsman (and presumably) a few daddy long legs still in the bathroom at the moment - i'm just avoiding it!
and why do they throw the covers off when it's cold but pull the sheets over their heads when it's hot?
and yes this - it is beyond me - i also wonder on the holidays when they sleep on a top bunk, how they can manage to stay in the bed and not move the whole night and yet, at home in their own single bed, how do they end up on the floor without an injury every second night?! weird

anyway, my 11y.o.DD has to have her pillow pet to sleep on (lucky it survives the washer and dryer!) and is usually surrounded by Beanie Pets that she collects.

bedtime needs to be 10.30 here - it's more like 11-11.30 though, i sleep better if i read before hand but sometimes it becomes a case of 'one more chapter' and suddenly it's already tomorrow! checking locks and kids and stuff is whoever is up last's job and covering the birds cages is pretty much last
