I was thinking of the same pack of emoticons you shared, Monica! I just used one of those on a layout earlier this week.

It's interesting to see the difference. The phone ones are just from text messaging and journaling, but on my computer I also use them when I write my grocery list.

I struggle to work out the meaning of most of the emojis I see in the drop down menus on social media and my young people's phones. I'm okay with the basics and use them occasionally but I don't use a smart phone so they are not a real part of my life. I often get empty squares inside text messages that I assume are emojis that don't work with SMS.

What’s your favorite emoji? Not sure I should admit it, but I think the poop empji is cute ... although I'm not sure I've ever actually used it. "Crap" is my fav swear word. I mostly use ROFL, blow a kiss, and upside down smilie face (Apple).

I struggle to work out the meaning of emojis when I can’t see them well. I would find it annoying to get a lot of empty squares inside text messages.

I’m proud of you for sharing your unpopular opinion that the poop emoji is cute. My son wore a poop emoji costume for Halloween one year so I like it because of that.
