I had something similar happen to me years ago. I had a box of snack bags of some sort of cereal-y snack mix on the floor. One day I opened a bag and was mindlessly munching away. Then I looked down and saw ants all over INSIDE the bag. :eek
 
What have I walked into here!?! LOL I guess I should have know with the title ;-) I have such a weak stomach when it comes to bugs (although ants are not so bad). My absolute worst is roaches. I cannot handle them. At all. I think it was fate that I ended up moving to Germany because we don't them here. I came from the desert and we had them everywhere. And scorpions. They are horrible too. Yeah, basically I don't do any kind of bug. Makes my stomach turn.

There was this time when I was 15 or so that I got what I thought was a box of stationary out of my parents basement, brought it upstairs to the living room. When I opened it at least 4 thousand roaches came running out all over the place. I was so horrified that I ran outside and threw up in the back yard. (Major over share....I know) My entire family still to this day makes fun of me about roaches.

Just cause you asked, I will tell you another gross bug story with a different bug.

In New Orleans every year around spring time there is a giant (and I mean giant) infestation of stinging caterpillers. They fall off of the trees and are all over the sidewalks and when you step on them they kinda crunch and ooze green guts everywhere. So for 2 weeks the sidewalks are littered with green caterpiller guts. Just gives you the willies to have to walk over it.

Okay you want another! One with food this time...
My daughter was eating a fresh piece of corn from the farmers market. She is busily munching away and I notice something white sticking out of the end. I have her stop and I pull out a giant cooked caterpiller worm looking thing. She won't touch corn on the cob now. Poor thing.
 
eeeewwwww!!! girls why did I read that now before going to bed??? I`ll have nightmares of roaches and ants! YUCK!

Yeah Kelly, isn`t it great to be in a roach free country LooL this is really one of the few things I love here LooL

I lived 4 years in egypt and i have a lot of stories like that and I really, really hate cockroaches... they make me throw up immediately. And the worst thing there is that the people there live with them and they don`t even care and the beasts can fly too... OMG I hate them. My husband once walked on the street in cairo and one flew inside his t-shirt... he took all his clothes out to find it... and all the people laughed about hin ROFL
 
eeeewwww and I just remember... once we were eating at a restaurant and he found on in his pizza... and he didn`t want to tell me what it was because he knew i would never eat anything at a restaurant again... he just told me years after

and ants invasions we had all the time... i never got rid of these beasts.

and once i found maggots in the flour, that was horrible also... ok i think thats enough of YUCK stories for now!
 
lol!! I'm so glad I am not eating breakfast today! Thanks for all the stories! Too funny!
 
I am moving to Denver! LOL

I don't mind bugs... to a point.... don't think I'd enjoy eatting them though! lol Although my brother in law ate a cicada one night on a dare... *crunch*
