OMG DS had a bread roll thingy a little while ago but barely touched it. I picked it up and took a bite and then noticed ants crawling all over my hand...so of course I spat it out and there were squished ants everywhere!

Your posts just draw me in even though I know I'm going to be so grossed out. LOL That is very gross! Love that smilie though. :)

Damn ants...we have this problem every year at this time. But this is the first time they've ever come in the lounge room. And his roll was on the lounge...I can't believe they climbed up for it so quick!

ooo Eryn, i'm sorry. does it make you feel better to know you are not the only one? it happened to my best friend two separate times when she was eating cereal.

gross things happen to me all the time. i'll try to find one that is a 4 or less (on the scale of 10 being EWW!!!) to share. so be on the lookout of not feeling as bad.

edit:
i thought of one. the other night we had a store meeting. and before it we had a pot-luck (we all brought in dishes) someone brought a plate of sliced deli meat. a piece of salami dropped on the floor so i told the guy standing in front of it that he dropped some. he told me that he hadn't but the guy in front of him turned around to look at the floor, said "oh, i did", picked it up and ate it. eww!!!

does that count?

I have way to many gross stories as you can perhaps imagine in a family of 7. So many in fact that not much grosses me out. LOL But I will share one anyway.

One time in New Orleans, I was in line at a grocery store and noticed the guy in front of me looked a little scruffy. So scruffy in fact he had roaches crawling all over him and he didn't even seem to notice. Man I was totally grossed out and felt so sorry for him. I mean you must have roaches crawling on you a lot not to even notice them.
 
oooo. roach stories! i have some of those too.

every now and then a computer will be brought into the store. just because the person leaves their house doesn't mean their little friends stay with them. open up the computer to repair it, roaches come out. customer gets called to pick up their machine. we spend the rest of the day trying to catch roaches. what's really awkward is when they don't act surprised.

ewwwwwww!!! I just killed a cockroach! I hate them!! But yeah having them live on you is just not good :(
 
OMG...maggots, ants, cockroaches...you guys must think I live in a dump!! Plus a heap of flies and mosquitos plus all the wasps outside ... I could pretty much start a zoo :(

(honest my house isn't usually so insect ridden....promise)

No, Eryn - we all have gross things happen to us but most of us don't feel the need to gross out everyone else around us. :flirty

Oh my! Yuck yuck yuck!!

I once started eatting a pb and j , put it down and when i came back to it i noticed little bitty red ants near it. I then saw that the peanut butter was "moving". I think i might have thrown up! They were "spicy"!!! Eewww!!! I so don't understand how so many cultures eat bugs and such!!!

On another thought, in Hawaii, we called cockroaches our state bird! They wwere huge and flew! I also remember centipedes and scorpians in the house! Must be all the humidity...here in Denver, i next to never see bugs!!!! We don't even have to worry about fleas! I don't even get bit by mosquitos enless we're camping by water in the woods.... Yay for next to no bugs!!!

reminds me of once when i was younger, i was eating raspberrys off a rassbery bush and i felt something weird and pulled half a dandy long legs out of my mouth
