Easter is coming | 22 March

We alternate holidays, so this year is my mom's year (yippee!) and we'll be eating at her house. She always makes amazing food and desserts, so I'm excited about that. My sister and I were talking, because there are four kids now that she's dating Brandon and he has two kids, but the youngest is 10 and the oldest is 21. We've done coin money in the plastic eggs before, but I think we're going to step up our game this year so the older ones will get more into it. LOL I think it should make for a fun time.

Also, this year I'm six months post back surgery and doing so much better, so I'm simply looking forward to enjoying time with my family without being miserable in pain. It's such a different life. Woo-Hoo!

As far as decorating, I did that a few weeks back. I decorate with birds and eggs anyway, so I just put out a bit more. I'll have to take photos . . . so I guess it's more springtime than Easter.

We will go to church on Easter Sunday morning, unless we end up going on Friday night and not going on Sunday. We'll have to see how that works out.

I'm just so excited that Easter and Passover hit on the same weekend this year-----we are all one BIG family!!!! Our huge Seder dinner is tonight and then just relax for the rest of the weekend. Blessed Passover and Happy Easter to all!!!!

LOL I'm reading this after lunch on Easter Sunday! Happy Easter! My boys are 17 and 19 now. The younger is on a week long camp and the older is still asleep. (I think he got home from 'night clubbing' around 6 - 8am!)

However, they still expect me to buy them Easter Eggs (which I did) and they STILL like to look for them hidden in the yard! :) I just don't know when we'll do it as the younger doesn't get home until next Saturday! :D Most important of all, I still like to get photos of all this every year to scrapbook Easter! :)
