Do you go all out with easter decor? What sort of things do you buy/make for this time of year?

Our house never really looks any different...
As crazy as we get at xmas, we have one easter-ish themed ornament (a bunny in a dress wooden cut-out thing like a bookend) that basically designates where the Bunny drops goodies - and that we forget about until the night before. I've made an 'easter tree' (sprayed branch in a flower pot with decorated styrofoam egg hanging from it) as a gift a few years back but generally we dont do much apart from kids easter craft...

This thread reminded me that I bought a cute "egg hunt this way" sign last year on clearance after the holiday. I should probably bring it upstairs this year. :) I also got the cutest pastel mercury jars for like .50 each!
I don't go too crazy with any holiday simply because I've got young kids who seem to think ANYTHING in the home is a toy. But I do hope to do more decorating in a few years. :) (Most of my Easter decor is ceramic/otherwise breakable.)

Nothing over here! When it's spring time I do try to make sure my flower pots all have some pretty flowers in them...and I usually use Easter as my guide as when I want that job done. Next week is Easter & I only have one pot done.

Yes I decorate!! Not over the top, but I definitely decorate. I'm gonna make some photos later.

Not much decorating going on here. Easter always kind of sneaks up on me, no matter when it is. I think it's because we're just so super busy this time of year, at home and at work. I have done no Easter planning for this year yet and have 2 meetings, baseball practice, band concert rehearsal, band concert, and dentist appt. coming up in the next few days.

Glad to know I'm not alone with the lack of decorating this time of year and looking forward to @berniek 's ideas pics!

I don't do a thing for Easter decorating. sigh. I do still love the Easter egg hunt with my boys though. They both know that Mom and Dad are the Easter bunny at 11 and 13, but we refuse to admit it (even though we did tell them many years ago) and they still try to bust Dad hiding the eggs outside. It's fun. So that's my only decoration (the eggs hiding in the yard) and it only last for about 15 minutes. :giggle

Don't celebrate Easter so no decorations here but love to see all the stuff in the stores, and I have one daughter that goes way O-V-E-R-B-O-A-R-D!! But her house is gorgeous. She always texts me pictures when she is done. But then, she use to manage a Pier 1 store and they get to take advantage of the greatest sales, so she would stock up and decorate just about every holiday there is.

I have zero Easter decorations. I'm not sure it has ever even occurred to me that I should decorate or that other people decorate for Easter.

I'm lucky to have a Christmas wreath and tree up in December. :)

I have a box of Easter decorations out in the garage, but I haven't put them up for over 10 years. I bought them back when Jeff and I were first married and we hosted his family for Easter. Cutesy pastel things aren't really my thing so I lack motivation to bring them in and put them up. Maybe I should donate them and pick out some things that are more "me".

I only have a couple of things . . . added some eggs that were more pastel colored . . . but I use birds and eggs in my decorating all the time, so it doesn't seem completely Easter - except for the treehouse and rabbit family we have.

We decorate for EVERY holiday- Valentine's day, St. Patrick's day, Easter (transitions to just a spring thing), 4th of July, Fall/Thanksgiving & Christmas.

I'm not sure if it's because I have young kids, or if I just like to do it anyways! I have a cute little entry table that holds most of the decor with a few things on the mantel & some on my porch chair! I'll post a few pictures:

I also love to display the kids' Easter Bunny Pictures over the years like I do the Santa pics during Christmas!

My tulips are just starting to pop up! Sometimes I even put out the chalkboard sign with a fun quote on it!
