Dry Shampoo....

I use it when I straighten my hair because it takes so long to wash dry and straighten all of my hair. I liked being able to only do that every other day. Now I'm letting my hair go curly/wavy again, so I haven't used it in awhile. I didn't know there were tinted versions though. I will definitely look into that if I go back to straightening.

In a pinch, I use corn starch baby powder. Just make sure to put on your hands and rub thoroughly so you don't end up with a bunch of white in your hair! LOL Massage at the roots.

Having said that, I don't like to use it. I prefer to wash my hair daily because here in Florida it's so hot and humid and my hair ends up not just being oily but also sweaty. UGH. Disgusting. I do try to air dry my hair to at least avoid that part of the hair damage cycle since I also straight iron my hair.

I use "Not Your Mother's" dry shampoo, it's cheap enough, but oh man.. It's DEFINITELY a life saver, and they have the travel version of it too so when I went to Korea, it was definitely in my bag! I have very thin, flat hair, and it gets greasy easily. If I wash more than twice a week, it starts getting brittle and breaking so yeah. It's also great for that last minute "you want me to leave the house and you're telling me five minutes before we have to leave and I haven't taken a shower in two days because I haven't left my computer seat?!?!" (That happens to everyone, right? >.>)

Anyway, it helps in those moments because I look fresh and ready, then I just wash it out later. lol! You'll have to tell us if the tinted works, never knew about that!

I think my longest stretch with no hair washing was about two weeks (which I don't recommend, but it just happened) and the dry shampoo saved my life!!!

I have never heard of these dry shampoos but I sure wish I had known of it when I was in the 2 wk rehab after my knee replacement. They did give you one free 'salon' shampoo in their little salon but the woman offered to put a slate rinse on my hair...it' will look really great!... and I felt like my hair was dirtier than before after that plus it was a flat slate color. Awful! She did wash it all out but again, it wasn't a really good wash either. Back when I was a little girl we did use baby powder between shampoos which were weekly in our house.
