If you're looking for something quick, easy and inexpensive to make during the summer a doodlebot is it!! We did this at the library a little bit ago and they're so fun!!

    Just need to get:
a pool noodle (cut a little longer than your toothbrush)
electric toothbrush (one that has the one/off switch on the bottom of the brush)
    markers
    a couple rubber bands
whatever you want to embellish them with (feathers, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, pom poms etc)

Decorate the pool noodle as desired rubber band the markers onto the bottom of the pool noodle (two on the sides and one in the back like a tripod) and gently shove the toothbrush into the top, place some paper underneath, turn him on and watch him "draw" you a picture.

It was a lot of fun!! I've also seen them made out of light weight cups vs the pool noodle and a small toy motor and a battery pack vs a toothbrush...that was pretty cool too!

It's a foam floatie for the pool shaped like a giant noodle (hollow in the middle) You can wrap them around yourself and used them to float in a pool.
