Digital Project Life is LIVE!!

wooot!

I have a question for you guys though...How are you gonna lay it all out? I thought maybe they would have templates with this that would be so much easier but they don't LOL! So what's your plan for scrapping it all?

Spent ages poring over this and thinking about this today (it's lunchtime here, haven't been up since midnight or something daft :)). I was expecting templates too, Crystal. I guess I'll probably lay it out much like the various page protectors - got some Biograffiti (retired) templates that might work, not sure.

Probably going to have to shrink everything a little to allow for bleed in the photobook too.

Has anyone splurged yet, then? I'd love to know if the papers and cards are textured or not!

After the seeing the kits, I am thinking that paper will be easier. I'm sticking with it again for 2012.

Thanks for the link up! I am going to go check it out. I haven't done this before paper or digital but you girls have been talking about it enough to have me inspired this year! :)

i made a template to look like the project life ones - 2 -4 x 6s on top, 4 -2 x3s in the middle and then another 2 4x6s along the bottom-easy peasy. I am not sure though if I am going to bother with the digital stuff from there though or just use my own stuff-there cute note cards right here that would work.

I´m like Laura and will stick with the paper pieces. But I think the digital products are some nice additions, when you´re in the need of something else, another design - easy to print outand use it then! :)

Yes, I agree! I am definitely buying it. I will add it to the paper stuff and I think it gives me more flexibility.

I was thinking they were going to have templates too! I was shocked they didn't.

But that's just an opportunity for you lovely designers here to come up with some :) I think Val's page protector kits would be perfect for a digital Project Life!

After thinking about it all morning I think I'm still going to get a paper kit because I love the idea of being able to include ephemera and stuff in the album (as opposed to having to scan it in for a digital album) BUT I'm gonna buy the digital stuff too and go hybrid. I like the idea of being able to type up my journalling (my handwriting sucks lol) and then print them out.

I was just looking at those! (Val's page protectors.) Love them!
