Did I miss the retirement Sale?

Yep the retirement section is up so a get a cuppa and get comfy for a whole lot of browsing!

I haven't added mine yet... I'm away from my computer today. I'll try to add some tonight.
 
You know what the best part of both of these sales? 1) I see my favorites in there and think - wow now someone else can enjoy these at a great price and 2) Oooo - that looks fun, let me see if I already have it - O I do! Now why haven't I used it yet??

For sure, I will have to check back if more designers are joining in later...
 
I just bought quite a few things in the retirement sale and am planning to buy more. I'd like to know if there are rules about using retired products in the gallery? The reason I'm asking is it seems like I read or heard something about that back when I was furiously trying to figure out where everything was. Should I be marking these "retired" in my files?

You are welcome to use any retired products of active designers at the Pad for challenges and in gallery. Woot! :happy

If you want to list the retired products you use as "retired" when you post your pages you can (I usually do just in case someone is looking for what I used in a page) but it's not mandatory. And so if it helps you in your personal organization to label these products as "retired" you can. But so long as the designer is a resident here, you can use any retired products freely in the pages you post. HTH! :beat

Since you joined in during the Month of Challenges in January that is probably what you are thinking of. That event does not count retired product towards the required percentages for the challenges. The regular monthly challenges the rest of the year do allow retired product. :)
