Anyone starting up today? I am combining both of these this year in my first attempt at an album. I just got my first email for the JYC class and can't wait to get started. How bout you? Are you ready for the Holiday kickoff to this project?
 
Yep, I'm printing out my final foundation pages this morning and can't wait to get started. I'm doing a combo too, so I'm just calling it Document your December and using a good chunk of TLP's DYD stuff. I will show off my photos later!
 
Me too! Still finish up my foundations (decisions decisions-kills me!) and I'll be doing a hybrid like last year! LOVE the process of this album!
 
I signed up for JYC and combining it all too. It's kind of why I've been absent here this week. Trying to get my album as ready as possible and working on hybrid pages with TLP stuff.

I just *know* I'm going to fall behind on the actual scrapping part despite my best efforts to prepare with foundation pages. I think I might try to blog all the JYC prompts as they come just to make sure I get the writing done and then work on my pages on the weekends or something.

I'm excited for the project but nervous because it's my first time! lol! Can't wait to see everyone else's :)
 
I am nervous as well, Michelle. Really want to do this project this year. I am also thinking of writing down my thoughts with the JYC class so that if I do get behind in my scrapping then I will still have all the thoughts and memories down to sort back through.
 
I am doing December Daily too! It will be a hybrid album like last year. However, I won't start filling it until next week, since my mom is visiting now and I don't have any crafting time. I do have some foundation pages ready to go, but I want to work on it on a daily basis and print out some full page photos too. I'm so excited to get started!
 
I am! I am doing it digital this year so that it actually has a shot at getting completed. I am using free templates from Scooty's Designs' Blog, and then preparing each template the night before with my papers (using my Very Vintage Christmas kit) so that each day I just need to pop in my journaling and photo. I will be printing the finished photobook at the end of the month through Persnickety Prints.

I adore the hybrid albums everyone has been preparing, but I've never tackled this project before and am nervous about it's completion, so I'm going digital with the hopes that it just gets done. Maybe next year I can get fancy.

I'm working on one too! I just ordered some supplies this week. I want to do some kind of hybrid album. I think I'm going to make it up as I go along. Hope you'll all post some pages as you go so I can be inspired! :)
 
Are you ladies using journaling prompts or scrapping your daily experiences month? I was planning to do a mix of both.
 
DD? Nope. But this JYC class sounds interesting. Where is that? I love to journal. I'm still going strong with Oh Life every day since May, but some good Christmas prompts would be great! Anyone care to link me up?

I am doing a combo of the 2. I have little envelopes that I am using for each day to work alongside the Journal Your Christmas class I am doing and then the rest of the book will just run with activities we do throughout the month.
 
On days where we don't do an activity, I'll journal one of the prompts or journal one of my favorite holiday memories.
 
That's the approach I'm taking too. Today's page is about my daughter's school christmas play and I'll use the JYC prompts as and when. I'm doing a digi album, wanted to do hybrid but too difficult for me! I've almost done my first page, but I'm not sure whether I like it, lol.
 
Some of my DD pages don't have 75% TLP product *duck*, so I can't post them in the gallery here. Can we have a stickied thread here in the forum where I could show off my pages linked from my Photobucket account? :)
