Unless it's MOC, I don't tend to use too many different products, I'm mostly a kit scrapper, I can rely on an easy combination of methods 1. rename layers with the kit name/designer 2. use the "recents" feature in finder so I can see everything I've recently used ... or if I'm using a lot of different products 3. I'll just jot it down in OneNote.
