73, sunny and gorgeous on sunday and today...i'm finally getting that snow i was wanting. i'm watching big, fat fluffy flakes falling. it's just nuts!
No way!!! It's warm here for the first time in a bit...supposed to be cooler tomorrow. Have fun in that snow Leslie!!
Where in Texas are you? My mom is in Houston and she said they had a chance of snow today. It is crazy how the temperatures can fluctuate from one day to the next. I wish it would fluctuate here. All we have is cold cold cold.
Yeah, I was in flip flops on Sunday and now I'm in a hat and scarf! I think we are due to get a "light" snow later this week... but so far all of our "light" snows have accumulated up to my knees!
I'm in Austin. I will have to say that as pretty as it is, I'm scared to drive home later. We had freezing rain and sleet before this and I'm afraid the roads are going to be treacherous.
Kelly, I'm in Houston and the word is 1 to 2 inches of snow North and West of I-10. YIKES! I'm leaving work as soon as I see it start to come down. Of course, the kids are hoping that it stays around long enough to cancel school tomorrow...as if! LOL!
yah even way down in south (ha) tx, it's colder than it's been the last week or so... but snow is not likely. be careful driving - not for you but for all those other totally crazy austin/houston drivers!
"Up" here in Arkansas it's cooled down and we're supposed to get some of that white *#&$ again...later this week! Oi!
just a few more weeks... the farmers almanac says the week of March 28th my area should get "spring like weather" then we get "squally"... huh??
Okay....so tonight we're taking my MIL back home (after an evening with visiting my FIL at the VA) and I noticed the moon and there's a ring around it. Anywho, I google it and apparently it means bad weather is coming and the number of stars inside the circle means how many days 'til the bad weather comes. GREAT!!!!! I only saw 1 freakin' star!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!!! I need sunshine and warm temps, please.
WE had that too! LITERALLY Sat morning we were at the park in tee-shirts and later that day we had those HUGE fluffly flakes. WE got TWO FEET in 24 hours!!!! Good luck sweetie! Make some SNOW CREAM with all that fresh snow!!
I was wearing shorts on sunday... what gives?! We just had flurries for a few minutes.. but umm who didn't get the memo. We live in Texas and we don't mind the heat!
Well it's all bright and shiny today. Temp is hovering around freezing but thankfully the road conditions (at least the ones I drive) weren't too affected by it all.
