So the awaited day has arrived, and the new King will be formally crowned shortly.

Who is watching it?
Are you or someone you know at the parades in person?
Are you watching alone or in a group?
Are you watching Live or later on catch-up?
Are you doing anything special to commemorate the occasion?
Are you scrapbooking the event?

We don't have a TV, so are watching the live broadcast at my parent's house. Tomorrow we have a collection of street parties to choose from.

I’m watching it live but whether I see the entire thing live is another matter entirely so I may end up watching the condensed highlights tomorrow afternoon.

I think it's happened already now, so I didn't get up early to watch it, but I know I'll be watching reports about it and reading stories and seeing pictures of who wore what. Lol. It's a big event!

I DVR'd it but did wake up in time to see some of it.

I've always been intrigued by the monarchy, must be because most of my ancestry is from the British Isles. I was thinking while watching, will I even be around for William's coronation? Charles is 7 to 8 years older than me but he has 2 parents that lived into their 90's so it is quite possible he could as well. So this could definitely be a once in a lifetime event for me.

Yes, I will scrap it. I did both Prince Phillip and Queen Elizabeth's funerals. (I've also done Pres Bush and Barbara Bush and will document Jimmy Carter as well).

Barts too busy kissing to watch! Ha

Not watching but will catch the highlights. As a member of the Commonwealth it's intriguing to me, I've always been fascinated by the Royal Family and my mom follows them, but I can take it or leave it.

We watched it all, Mackenzie wore her crown bless her :) They did lots at school about it, had a drummer to greet us in the playground in the morning and both of them had dress up days at school and had coronation events at school on Friday.

We made home-made bunting which Mackenzie took into school and have been doing various King Charles artwork.

There are things going on in our local area but the weather is iffy and we have had a few busy weekends so we are celebrating at home. Keaton wanted a mini party so we had a little buffet in the sitting room whilst it was all on the tel with some treats.

I turned on to watch the news and there was the coronation, so I watched parts of it. I kept falling back asleep though.
